I'm not trying to deceive Kiel, or take advantage of him," Lucien said. "I know this is a lot to take in, and I know it's hard to believe. But please, just hear me out. I'm not lying to you, and I'm not trying to trick Kiel."
Kayla and Damian looked at each other, not sure what to believe. On the one hand, they wanted to believe Lucien, and give him the benefit of the doubt. But on the other hand, they had a hard time believing that Kiel had been chosen by the Supreme Ones to be Lucien's soulmate. They knew how Kiel had struggled with his self-worth and confidence, and they didn't want to see him get hurt by someone who was just trying to take advantage of him.
Finally, Kayla spoke up. "Okay, let's say that you're telling the truth. Let's say that you really are Kiel's soulmate, and that you're not trying to deceive him. How do you know that you're not mistaken? How do you know that the Supreme Ones really chose you two to be together?"
Lucien hesitated, and then said, "I know it Lucien continued, his voice urgent and insistent. "There's something else you need to know, something that proves that we're meant to be together. Kiel's power should have awakened already. He has another power, in addition to his dragon powers and it should have come to him by now."
Kiel and Kayla and Damian were confused. Kiel had never shown any sign of having another power. Was Lucien just trying to confuse them, or was he telling the truth? Kayla looked at Kiel, who seemed as confused as she was.
"What are you talking about?" Kayla asked, her voice sharp. "Kiel has always just had water magic. What other power could he possibly have?"
Lucien looked at Kiel, his eyes pleading. "Kiel, you need to trust me. You have another power, a rare and special power that few people have ever possessed. You have the power of the Mystic Wolf and it's just waiting to be awakened. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true."
Kiel was starting to feel overwhelmed. This was all too much to take in, and he wasn't sure what to believe. But he decided to take a chance and trust Lucien. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to focus his thoughts and clear his mind. And then, he felt a tingling sensation in his body, like a spark of electricity running through his veins. He opened his eyes, and to his shock, he saw that his irises were no longer blue, but a bright, golden orange, like flames.
Kiel gasped, and Kayla and Damian stared at him in shock. Kiel felt a sudden surge of energy, like a force was pulsing through his entire body, his mystic wolf(Lim) is awake ready to come out.He looked at Lucien, who was smiling at him. "See? I told you, you have the power of the Mystic Wolf. Now you just need to learn how to control it."
Kiel still felt overwhelmed, but he also felt a sense of wonder and excitement. This was something he had never even dreamed of, and he couldn't wait to explore this new power and see what he could do with it. But before he could ask Lucien any more questions, the palace doors burst open, and a group of royal guards rushed into the room.
"What's going on?" Kayla demanded.
One of the guards stepped forward, his expression stern. "Princess Kayla, the royal council has issued an order for your brother's mate's arrest. They say he's been consorting with supernatural creatures, and that he poses a threat to the safety of the kingdom."
Kayla's eyes widened in disbelief. "That's ridiculous! Kiel would never do anything to harm our kingdom. He's innocent!"
The guard shook his head. "I'm sorry, Princess, but the royal council has spoken. We have orders to bring your brother's mate in for questioning, and you are to come with us as well."
Kayla felt her blood boil with anger. She couldn't believe the royal council would do this, and she certainly wasn't going to let them take her brother without a fight. "You're not taking my brother's mate anywhere!" she cried, her hands balling into fists at her sides. "I won't let you."
Kiel put a hand on Kayla's shoulder. "Kayla, please," he said, his voice calm and steady. "We can't fight the royal council. We have to go with them, and try to make them see reason."
Kayla turned to Kiel, her face full of doubt and fear. "But what if they won't listen? What if they won't believe us?"
Kiel's expression was resolute. "We have to try. I know you're scared, but I promise we'll get through this together. I'm not going to let anything happen to you."
Kayla took a deep breath, and nodded. She knew Kiel was right. They had to try to reason with the royal council, and hopefully they would see that Kiel was innocent. She just hoped they would be able to convince them before it was too late.
The royal council members gasped as they saw Kiel's wolf form emerge. They had never seen anything like it before, and they were frozen in shock and terror. The wolf's white fur glowed with an otherworldly light, and its golden eyes burned with an intensity that made the council members feel like they were staring into the sun.
The wolf's gaze swept over the council members, and they felt as if it was looking straight into their souls. It seemed to be judging them, weighing their worthiness, and finding them lacking. A low growl rumbled in the wolf's throat, and the council members felt a

As the wolf stood before them, an ethereal voice rang out, filling the room with its majesty. "You have wronged my companion, and now you will face my judgment." The council members quivered with fear, knowing that they were powerless against this creature.
"What judgment?" one of the council members managed to stammer out. "What do you mean?"
The wolf's voice was calm and assured. "You have accused my companion of consorting with supernatural creatures, and you have brought shame and dishonor upon him. For this, you must pay a price. You must choose one of your own to face my judgment, to walk the Path of Fire."
The council members looked at each other in horror, their faces pale and their hearts pounding. The Path of Fire was a legend, a trial that only the bravest and most worthy could hope to survive. They knew that whoever was chosen to face this trial would not return alive.
"We cannot choose one of our own to face such a trial," one of the council members said, his voice trembling.
The wolf's eyes glowed brighter, and its voice filled with authority. "You must choose. You have brought dishonor upon my companion, and you must pay the price. The choice is yours - choose one of your own, or all of you will face my judgment."
The council members looked at each other in terror, each one hoping that they would not be chosen. Finally, one of the council members stepped forward, his head bowed in submission. "I will go," he said, his voice quavering. "I will face the Path of Fire."
The wolf nodded, and a portal opened up in the air before them. The council member took a deep breath, and stepped through the portal, into the unknown. The portal closed behind him, and the council members were left in silence.
The wolf turned back into Kiel, and he spoke. "I'll have to reshapen the council, but now justice has been served. And with that, the whole council looked with utmost grief.
Lucien's mind was racing, trying to process everything that had just happened. He was still in shock, but he was also relieved that the ordeal was over.
