Chapter 2 - chapter 1

"As the students of the supernatural academy gathered in the great hall, Lady Dorathy stood on the stage and cleared her throat.

"Students," she began, her voice ringing out across the hall. "Today, we welcome new students to our academy. Though they may come from faraway lands, we must remember that we are all united in our pursuit of knowledge and

understanding. I ask that you give them a warm welcome."

As she finished her speech, the doors to the hall opened and two figures entered. They were battered and bruised, their clothes ripped and their faces covered in dirt. The students murmured among themselves, curious about who these newcomers were.

"May I present to you, Damian,Kayla and Kiel," Lady Dorathy announced, gesturing to the three figures. "They come to us from a faraway land, seeking a new home and a new start. Let us welcome them with open arms."

Damian and Kayla walked to the front of the hall, their heads held high. Though they looked bedraggled, there was a strength in their eyes that the other students couldn't help but notice.

"Greetings, students of the supernatural academy,"Damian said, his voice strong and clear. "We are grateful for your hospitality and for the chance to learn and grow here. Though we may be strangers to you, we hope that in time, we can become friends and allies."

Kayla nodded in agreement, her eyes scanning the faces of the students in the hall. "We are eager to learn from you and to share our knowledge with you," she said. "We come in peace and with an open mind."

A murmur of assent rippled through the crowd, and the tension in the air began to dissipate. Though they were newcomers, it seemed that Damian and Kayla had won over the crowd with their humble words and open hearts.

"We will begin with introductions," Lady Dorathy said, clapping her hands together. "I will ask each of you to introduce yourselves and share a bit about your powers and abilities. Let us start with Damian and Kayla."

Damian stepped forward and cleared his throat. "My name is Damian, and I am a werewolf. I have the ability to shift into my wolf form at will, and I possess enhanced strength and speed."

Kayla smiled and stepped forward as well. "I am Kayla, and I am a sorcerer. I can manipulate the elements of earth, air, fire, and water, and I can also use telekinesis and teleportation. I am still learning to control my powers, but I am eager to grow and develop my skills."

Lady Dorathy nodded, satisfied with their introductions. "Very well," she said. "Let us move on to the next student. James, why don't you start?"

James, a young man with dark hair and piercing blue eyes, stepped forward. "My name is James, and I am a warlock. I have the ability to cast spells and summon.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Kiel, and I am a student at this academy. I am a younger brother to Damian and Kayla, who both have strong powers. While I am still discovering my own potential, I am content to be a part of this community and to learn all that I can. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow here."

After the introductions, the students were broken up into smaller groups based on their primary supernatural abilities. Kiel was placed in the "undeveloped" group, as he had not yet awakened any of his powers. He joined the other students who were still in the process of learning about and developing their abilities. The headmistress then gave the class assignments and they began their first lessons.

The first lesson for the "undeveloped" group was about meditation and visualization. The headmistress explained that before any powers could be harnessed, it was important to connect with the inner self and understand one's own strengths and weaknesses. Kiel found this lesson challenging, as he had never done any type of meditation or introspection before. But he was determined to try his best and to learn all that he could.

As the lesson progressed, the headmistress led the class through a series of guided meditations, focusing on finding their inner light and connecting to their true selves. Kiel found this to be a deeply moving experience. He felt a sense of peace and connection that he had never felt before. He began to understand that his journey to discovering his powers was just as important as the powers themselves. He started to feel hopeful about his future and his ability to control his own destiny.

After the meditation, the headmistress had the class practice visualization exercises, where they were asked to imagine themselves in a place where they felt safe and calm. Kiel struggled at first, but he eventually found himself transported to a meadow in the forest, surrounded by trees and filled with sunlight. He felt a sense of peace and belonging.

Over in Damian's class, the Lycan prince, Brian, was making an announcement about the annual contest that would be taking place in a few weeks. The contest was a way for supernatural beings to showcase their skills and abilities, and it was a major event in the supernatural world. As Brian spoke, Damian found himself unable to focus on his studies. The noise from the other students was distracting, and he was struggling to concentrate on the material in front of him. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore, and he shouted, "Can you all please be quiet! I'm trying to study!"

Brian turned to Damian, his face contorted in anger. "You dare to speak to me like that, commoner?" he snarled. "I am the Lycan prince, and you will show me respect!"

Damian stood up, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew that he shouldn't have shouted, but he was so frustrated that he couldn't help himself. "I'm sorry, your highness," he said, his voice trembling slightly. "But I am trying to study and it is very difficult with all the noise."

Brian glared at Damian, his eyes flashing with rage.

"Fine," he said. "I will allow you to study in silence for now. But know this, Damian - I am the one who decides who wins the annual contest. If you wish to succeed, you would do well to show me some respect."

Damian nodded, his head bowed in submission. He knew that he had made a mistake in challenging the prince, and he hoped that he could find a way to make amends. But as he sat down to study, his mind was still racing with thoughts of the contest and what it would take to win. Would he be able to prove himself worthy in the eyes of the prince, or would he forever be seen as a commoner, not worthy of respect? As he wrestled with these thoughts, he found it impossible to focus on his studies. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm his mind and clear his thoughts. But no matter how hard he tried, his mind kept wandering back to the contest and his place in the supernatural world.

Just then, there was a knock at the door. Damian looked up, startled by the interruption. The door opened, and a figure stepped into the room. It was Kiel, his expression unreadable. He glanced around the room, his eyes finally settling on Damian.
