Chapter 26 - Unexpected Connections and Conflicting Feelings

After many tiring days at school, Tiffy returned home feeling exhausted from her Physical Education class and spending time with her classmates, including her friend Joel. However, she sometimes found Joel annoying due to his talkative nature and the attention he received from other students.

Upon arriving home, Tiffy discovered that there were no people around except for her Aunt Lynneth, who had brought along a boy who was slightly taller than her. Tiffy felt disappointed to see the trash outside and realized that she would be in charge of the dishes since most of their maids were absent. She couldn't help but wonder why visitors were coming when there was so much cleaning to be done.

As Tiffy cleaned the dishes in the kitchen, she passed by the boy sitting in the sala. She wondered who he was and assumed that her Aunt Lynneth had brought him despite the messy state of their home. Tiffy didn't expect to see someone inside the house, and when their eyes met, she felt a bit shy. The boy quickly averted his gaze towards the television, as if he hadn't noticed her.

Tiffy thought to herself, "Wow, he's cute," but felt embarrassed about the state of their home and moved backward. She tried to steal another glance at the boy, but he went outside with a smile. Tiffy said to herself, "I thought he was cute, but now that I see him up close, he seems so simple." She made this judgment based on not clearly seeing his face.

However, a minute later, Tiffy noticed her heart beating fast and realized that she felt something for him. She blushed and thought, "Ewww, why is this happening? He's not even handsome." Despite her initial judgment, she couldn't deny the fluttering feeling in her heart.

Later, Tiffy mustered the courage to go outside and catch a glimpse of the guy, but she couldn't bring herself to face him directly. Her Aunt Lynneth then asked her to make juice for their visitor, as they wanted to taste her homemade juice. Aunt Lynneth also reminded Tiffy to take care of herself and not solely focus on her studies, but also continue her advocacy of helping poor children and providing them with food.

When it was time for the visitors to leave, Aunt Lynneth revealed that the boy was Devoun's brother. Tiffy was shocked by the revelation. Later, Tiffy tried to be friendly and greeted the boy outside the house. He expressed his happiness at seeing her and mentioned that he had come with Aunt Lynneth just to see her. They exchanged numbers and became friends.

However, as the days went by, Tiffy noticed that Jacob didn't show any love interest towards her. She suspected that he might have a girlfriend and didn't want to hurt her feelings. Despite this, Tiffy couldn't deny that Jacob held a special place in her heart.

In this chapter, Tiffy encounters unexpected connections as her Aunt Lynneth brings Devoun's brother to their home. Tiffy initially finds the boy cute but later questions her judgment based on his simple appearance. However, she can't deny her growing feelings for him. Tiffy and the boy exchange numbers and become friends, but Tiffy realizes that Jacob may not reciprocate her feelings.
