The child looked at the crown and then at the man, who took on glares from more adults. He then turned to Kanaru again. "Can I still meet His Majesty? Can I give the crown to him myself?"
"Sure. We can go now if you like." Kanaru then feigned his sudden flinch. "Wait, I think you should get your scratches checked first. Also, you would want to appear in your best clothes before him. Why don't you go home after having Lady Heinz treat you? We'll wait for you in the palace."
