Swoosh! Fenris felt how something dashed from behind him. When he looked up, Kanaru was already airborne and ready to fight. He circled in the sky and crashed into the group of bandits. Mercilessly taking down the horses in a swift sweep, Kanaru stopped the group from running. The only one spared was the bandit holding Aki. The bird prince decided to knock down the rider with his foot.
Aki and the man got thrown off the rampaging horse. The child was quickly caught by Fenris, and the man landed on the ground. He rolled a few times, writhing in pain as the momentum was too great. His shoulders were even dislocated.
"You think you can escape us after what you did in the palace?" Kanaru huffed and dove next to the bandit. He made the bandit take on the gust of his descent. "You even dared to kidnap a child. We won't let you get away with any of these."
