"Amazing… I've never seen anything like this material before…" the headmaster murmured as he caressed the steel skeletal gauntlet on Kanaru's hand. However, he noticed how blood seeped into the joints of the pieces making up the skeletal frame. "Blood? It's not an accessory? Something so exquisite is a functional weapon?"
Kanaru wanted to pull his hand away, but he didn't want to be rude to someone admiring a gift given to him. It was Fenris's cue to clear his throat. "Headmaster, you shouldn't touch the king's concubine without his permission. Do you know what this could cost you?"
The headmaster froze and moved his hands away as if Kanaru's hand was made of molten metal. He then stepped back before bowing. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to forget! It's just that… your gauntlet is surely a rare find. Did His Majesty give it to you?"
