As if hearing him clearly, the leviathan shifted back to her human shape. Her long, dark brown hair cascaded like waves on her shoulders while her acorn eyes stared right back at Gannett. A long, smooth neck and narrow shoulders… This leviathan was a dazzling beauty. Despite the blood on her face, she didn't look shabby or terrifying.
"…I heard leviathans like you can look human, but… I think you're overdoing it…" Gannett nervously chuckled as he retreated from the lady. "Are you planning to kill me, too?"
"No…" Cheetry stared at Gannett. She got up and walked up to him, even getting close enough to lean against his chest. Her face lifted, and their gazes locked with each other's. She whispered, "Why do I feel strange? These memories feel so vivid… Was it because he remembered all of it too much?"
Gannett laughed, his hand almost juggling the sword's handle in his palm. "Probably for the worst reasons. Aren't you getting too close?"
