"…" Fenris stared at her. His smile began to morph into a cold one, but Puri only trembled in her spot. Before he could say something, Henrik came behind Puri and gently pulled her away. However, he didn't miss the chance to speak to Fenris.
"Fenris, Puri's right. You better fix this mess while you still can. If you were listening, Kanaru already drew in some hate for you." The pterippus eyed the unicorn with a firm look. He didn't even soften his voice. "Be a man and face the repercussions of your actions."
The king's face visibly grew darker. Henrik didn't avoid his gaze at all. The ladies, however, realized Henrik attracted Fenris's ire to save Puri.
