A piercing scream came from the bird prince as the light reshaped into bones, tendons, and nerves. It was a forearm and a hand, but the parts had no flesh. The sensation felt like his entire skeletal system was pierced from the inside. He quickly broke away from Saturn's hold. Kanaru's eyes quickly flooded with tears. He grabbed the upper arm as if squeezing would stop the pain, but it didn't.
"Kanaru!" Fenris got on the floor and hugged Kanaru in a tight hold. He used his ability to numb Kanaru's entire body to stop him from feeling anything. However, Kanaru already went through it. It had been engraved in his memory.
One would think Kanaru's pain tolerance was already so high. After all, his left hand had been repeatedly busted due to fighting. Even if it was, what Saturn did still caused him tremendous pain. The bird prince would be thrashing on the floor if Fenris didn't step in.
