King Khael flinched at the question. He stopped talking for a bit to think about the answer. He knew who Fenris Middlemist was, but… what did that have to do with the issue?
Fenris pulled the map closer to him. He recorded everything on it in his memory. Because the center was the Yellow Empire, he figured this was the map used long ago. However, the paper was new, and the edges were free from wearing. He was too focused on other things whenever he was in Burdett. He never thought of taking a look at their maps.
The shire horse king gave up. "King Fenris, I'm sorry. I must have misspoken earlier. You must have some kind of plan in place already."
"That's not important now. Tell me more about the map. Where did you get it?" Fenris looked at Khael, and the shire horse flinched.
