"Eann!" Sordin called out as he ran to get to where Eann was. He vaulted past a few metal railings and walked when he was just steps away. "You're not waiting for someone else, are you?"
"…not really." Eann smiled and looked at the big ship in the distance. "I can see everyone boarding from here. I don't want to stand around and bid goodbye like the others. You're right. I'm not waiting for someone else. I'm waiting to see you board the ship."
Sordin flinched and looked in a direction. He could see his family's carriage queueing for boarding. After all, each carriage must have its turn in the inspection booths. He looked back at Eann. His eyes glistened differently out of sight. "You're waiting to see me leave? Why didn't you just say goodbye to me along with everyone else?"
Eann chuckled. "…because I don't want to say goodbye to you."
