"You've got to be kidding me…" Dio grabbed Kanaru again. This time, his unretracted claws pierced through Kanaru's shoulder. He glared heavily at the third prince. "Why did you take him here? Do you even know who that guy is?"
"I'm sorry. He's the only one who knows what we're looking for. I didn't want to take a chance with other people. Fenris had been stuck in that curse for over two days." Kanaru grabbed the wrist and tried to pry off the claws. "Dio, I'll make it up to you next time. Please help me for now. I'm really sorry. I don't want to disturb your peace, either."
Dio stared at the third prince. He slowly took out his claws… and healed the wounds with his light. Then again, unlike Fenris's healing, Dio could only partially close the wound and relieve the pain.
