Crack! A soft crack came from a distance. The whole sunken city was so quiet that this sound was audible to the shocked group of knights. When they looked up, they found three figures on top of the broken frame of the palace.
A man with long lush black hair stood there, grinning down at them. He looked beaten up, but his eyes glistened in victory. Behind him was a muscle-charged thug. His usually smiling face lay flat, while his arms were occupied by another person. That man seemed unconscious… and missing his legs knees down. Kanaru didn't have to take another minute guessing. Those were the three leviathans.
