In the preserved room, Kanaru finished filling the blank pages with the recreated diagrams he saw on the walls. He would look for them in Fenris's palace library as soon as they returned. That was why he was now looking for anything to protect the sketchbook from the ocean. However, it was all in vain. Kanaru was not happy.
The bird prince plopped on the long couch. He hugged the sketchbook and perused it again. On it were a few more sketches done by the owner. The handwriting was also especially smooth and legible. Kanaru figured the room's owner was a respected person if he was bothered to write so nicely.
His hands stopped at the page, which made Kanaru want to take the sketchbook back home some more. In addition to the diagrams and drawings of celestial bodies, the owner also sketched what he labeled automobiles. Kanaru had never seen any surviving relic of this digital-age transportation vehicle, but the owner drew over a dozen of them in his sketchbook.
