Kanaru could hear their words, but none of them registered in his mind. His brain seemingly froze upon seeing the man on the couch. After all, Adeen… looked so similar to Fenris. They could be easily mistaken for brothers. However, everyone was so clear Fenris was the only child of King Gior and Queen Lovelle Middlemist. How come someone looked like this?
It took Kanaru a few seconds to recall that he was looking at a leviathan. These things would eat multiple humans and pick out random genes for their appearance. Perhaps this man's appearance was from a random pick. Then again, Kanaru felt he would grow dumb if he believed it was coincidental.
