Fenris stared at him before stepping closer, the shield breaking as he went. He hugged Kanaru gently. "How could you be this… forgiving? Kanaru, don't cry. I won't do anything to upset you anymore."
Before Dio knew it, a single tear streaked down his cheek. He used a hand to wipe it off. "…I guess he's right. You did choose to put him above everything else. I don't know how much you'll sacrifice for him now, but I hope it's all worth it for you.
"If this is all you wanted to hear, then I'll say it…" Kanaru and Fenris turned to Dio as he said those words. However, he spread his white wings and hovered in the air. Dio stared straight into Fenris's eyes before whispering into the wind.
"Goodbye, Fenris. I won't seek you again."
Flap! Dio's wings beat thrice before he dashed into the night sky like a rocket. However, he quickly hid behind the clouds, vanishing from their gazes.
