Fenris shook his head. "Ask the other immortal equine races, King Bourbonia. My nuckelavee blood allows me to infect another unicorn with my power. Should I die, my blood strewn with his will receive the energy I will be giving back. There's no loss."
King Bourbonia didn't know if he should believe that, but he couldn't do anything to ascertain it. Should he kill Fenris to see what happens? Could he even do that? Moreover, his Bourbonia was just a lesser country compared to most. What good was it to decline Middlemist in favor of Lackruth, just another slightly richer country than his own?
