Is this it? am i gonna die here?

aldrich thought to himself, coughing up a mouthfull of blood, as a hand stabbed through his chest grabbing hold of his spiritual heart.

aldrich was a prodigy, a warrior feared by demons and even among the angels, he had emerged from every battle victorious and had won a lot of war, but at this moment he was cursing himself for being so narrow minded.

"d-damnit, i can't belive i fell for such an obvious trick" aldrich struggled to say as his divine essence was slowly leaving him.

" kekeke, you're a skilled warrior no doubt there, but you're far too young, and you lack proper experience, it was easy to agitate you, a shame though you could have been able to kill me had the battle drawn out"

the demon lord uttered with a cruel grin etched on his face while releasing his necrotic essence in aldrich's body.

aldrich yelled in pain as black veins began protuding from his body, his sclera had turned black and his pupil began turning a deep shade of crimson.

using every ounce of strenght he had, he transformed into his angelic form, his once white wings had began turning a deep shade of black, his halo which was previously golden had become a black ring floating above his head at this point aldrich didn't even care about the transformation his body underwent because of the demon's lord necrotic essence, if he was gonna die then he'll be taking the demon lord with him.

'' Hey!, don't look so smug bastard, if i'm dying i'm taking you with me" aldrich grinned chanting a spell while using his other hand to lock the demon lord in place.

A circle with complex runes appeared above aldrich's palm, the sky which was once bright had become dark as night, the time which was previosly frozen by aldrich was released, all of aldrich's mana was focused on the spell he was chanting.

The terror was visible on the demon king's face, he tried to escape aldrich grasp but all his attempt failed, with a final look aldrich stabbed into the demon king's chest with the circle, uttering the word 'CHRONO'.

The demon lord fell to his kneels, immediately a huge slash appeared spanning from his shoulders down to his waist followed by a hole through his throat, he yelled in pain as all the wounds from his previous battles he has ever had began appearing on his body, within seconds all that was left of the demon king was a gruesome figure, he had completly lost most of the flesh on his body and was replaced by an amalgalation of bones and skins barely hanging on him.

Completly rendered unable to fight the demon lord created a portal to escape as he had no choice, before aldrich froze time most of the demons were already defeated.

As a last resort aldrich made a spear with the remaining divine essence left in his body, throwing it as hard as he could, the spear pierced through the demon king's shoulder taking away his left hand before he could completly exit through the portal.

An angel with six wings etched on his back walked up to aldrich who was lying lifelessly on a pool of blood of his making, in an attempt to revive him he infused a bit of his divine essence in aldrich's body but the result was not within his expectations, aldrich had no spiritual heart to absorb his divinity instead it was merging with the necrotic essence of the demon king which was placed in his body.

Aldrich's body contorted in spasms of pain contending with the necrotic and divine essence tearing him apart, every breath felt like shards of glass piercing his lungs , blood began dripping from his eyes and nostrills as his body began emmiting an aura that could only be found in fallen angels before he finally passed out.

[IN PARADISE, THE HEAVENLY LORD'S PALACE]

In the celestial realm, where a profound radiance filled the atmosphere, stood a remarkable chamber, it was the sanctuary of divine justice, the walls seemed to be made of shimmering light and the air had a peacfull feel to it. Ethreal beings adorned with mesmerizing wings supervised the proceedings.

At the center of the room a figure sat on the majestic throne made of pure light, he possessed an aura which could make one go on their kneels just by gazing at him. his aura was gentle at the same time it was dominating one could make out the authority he held.

In front of him stood aldrich with two guards on each of his side, aldrich had a lifeless look on his face, he was adorned with a black garment, an attire used by fallens when they visited paradise. all angelic features aldrich had was nowhere to be found, his blond hair was now a deep shade of black with blueish highlights his eyes which were previously golden were now a light shade of silver.

With a quick gaze to the side aldrich could see the faces of the people gathered in the room, their expressions was that of disgust and disdain. he let out a sigh, awaiting his judgment. he had expected atleast this much, even though he wasn't at fault it didn't change the fact that he was already a fallen, whether he liked it or not.

" aldrich bladeheart...." one of the judge began, a hint of pity on his voice, " you've been tainted by the demon's lord essense, and you've lost your divine heart as such you've become a fallen forsaking your being as an angel, you have no place in the heavens until your divine heart is retrived, therefore you're forbidden from entering the heavens, due to all your contributions in the war you will be assigned a guardian angel to look after you for the duration of your stay in earth until your divine heart is recovered." he finished as the other judges nodded in agreement.

Damn, they didn't have to put it that way, forsaking my being as an angel, tsk making it sound like i intentionally chose to be a fallen

aldrich thought to himself as he was being led out of the courtroom, he turned to the side of the room above where his sister was barely keeping herself in check with tears streaming down her face, she felt helpless her only brother was being exiled from paradise and she couldn't do anything about it.

[ 18 YEARS LATER, TOKYO, JAPAN]

A school whose building spammed eight stories high , a lot of students could be seen around the building carying out different activities, at the gate two teenagers could be seen viewing the school.

" Hey rin.... our new school is quite big, do you think we'll be able to make friends" A girl with red pupils and glasses with a black hair tied in a ponytail, with a cheerfull expression, asked the boy behind her who bore a notable resemblance to her, it was quite obvious that they were siblings, twins to be precise.

" i don't know rei, that depends on you entirelly.... also, refrain from getting into trouble, it's going to be quite problematic to have to cover for you." rin answered before walking into the school leaving his sister behind.

" dummy rin, making it sound like i get into trouble purposely... whatever happens at this school i'll definately have my fun to the fullest."

rei uttered with a radiant smile on her face.
