Aurelie came out of the bathroom and walked to the dressing table where her phone was. She picked it up and turned the screen on. It was six-forty in the morning. Her stomach growled. Breakfast was served downstairs. There was no better time to go and fill her stomach.
She looked over at herself in the mirror fixed next to the window and facing the bed. Her hair was slightly damp and secured in a high ponytail. She had a large hoodie on and a white tee shirt underneath it. Her legs were covered by a faded pair of jeans with white running shoes peeking out of the flared bottoms.
She put her phone in the hand warmer compartment of the hoodie and began walking towards the door. When she stepped out of her room and closed the door, she looked at the door opposite hers. That was the door to Nicolas's hotel suite. She couldn't help but wonder briefly if Nicolas was in there. Was he sleeping or working?
