Cari shut her eyes painfully. She was speechless and confused.
"I don't know what to do" Cari whispered, sitting back on her chair.
"You know what to do, but you're scared to do it" Megan said and lowered her head "Just try it tonight and see what happens" She whispered persuasively. "It's a good thing it's a mask party, you don't have to worry about your identity" Megan said with a smile.
Cari sighed, rubbing her forehead, refusing to be easily persuaded.
After her date with Megan, she'd gone home to think about the weird party invitation. She mulled over it for hours and at night, she found herself at the party, dressed in a short, tight dress and of course a mask to hide her eyes.
She sat at the bar, feeling nervous. Megan had gone with a rich guy to God knows where, leaving Cari to get her own rich guy.
