Barry's eyes fluttered closed and open again, then turned his gaze away from my face, his strong veiny hands slowly rubbing the nape of his neck "Today was fun" he said and chuckled lightly.
"Yeah, it was fun" I agreed with a smile. "Thank you"
"No, I'm the one who should be grateful" He refocused his gaze back to mine. "I have never had such an incredible time with anyone before" He took a step closer, bringing more of his scent to my nostrils. He gently held my hand in a warm grasp. "Thank you"
I tiptoed up to meet his height and planted a brief, unexpected kiss on his red lips.
He rubbed his finger on his lower lip after the kiss, gazing at me.
I smiled at his reaction. "Why are you staring at me like we haven't kissed before? We've done more than a simple kiss"
Thinking about it and saying it out loud brought heat to my face.
