I could go back to finding ways to please Pete like I did in the past and guess what? Fucking Barry had to get involved again.
Pete released me from the hug and gently brushed my hair back.
"Thank you, Pete" I heartily appreciated him.
He held my cheeks in his hands "Pixie, look, you don't have to thank me"
I blinked softly at him. He is still so noble after all these years. He didn't change.
"Being with you, staying close to you, gives an unexplainable pleasurable feeling inside me" He said with a smile but he still looked so serious. So honest. And so handsome.
He dropped his palms from my cheeks to hold one of my hands in his large ones. "I have always loved you, Pixie"
