After they were done with their duties, Jason didn't follow them back as he spent his observing Mira who was still busy in the farmland as he pondered how he was going to put the herb inside the food met for the sect leader and elders and the only thing he could think of was to keep an eye on her which won't be possible since they are under the supervision of the quartermaster.
While he was busy thinking, Mira suddenly caught sight of him sitting on a spot that was shaded by the sun and seemed to be spaced out. With a guilty expression on her face, she made her over as she stood in front of him which brought him back as he wondered who could be standing before him only for him to see that it was the same person he wanted to get back at.
"What do you want?" asked Jason with a frown on his face.
"I wanted to apologize for last time, I was scared and I thought you were sent by those from the other sect" replied Mira.
"Well, you have gotten what you wanted so what's the need for you to beg for an apology, or could it be that you want to call the sect disciples on me like you did last time" said Jason with a chuckle.
"I already said that I'm sorry so why are you still going on with this" asked Mira feeling a little down by Jason's behavior.
"Would your apologies get me out of this place? So get out of my sight alright? You ruin my life and you expect me to forgive you, dream on" replied Jason as he got up and began to leave the farm but before leaving, he turned to her as he said.
"I will get you back for what you cost me".
Mira just stood there watching him leave with a conflicted look on her face but there was nothing she could do other than to watch him go since the deed had already been done. After coming in contact with her, Jason became more determined to get his revenge as he continued to march forward until he got to the hut where he went to look for Eric.
"Hey Eric, I need your help with something." These were the first words that came out of his mouth when he saw Eric.
"What's the problem Jason?" asked Eric with a surprised look on his face as he stared at angry Jason in front of him.
Jason called him outside since the others were around and some had a crush on her. After meeting him outside, Eric decided to ask him about the problem since it was rare for Jason to be angry unless someone provoked him.
"How long have you known Mira?" asked Jason.
When Eric heard this question, he suddenly let out a sigh of relief. He thought maybe the disciples were the ones that mess with him which got him angry but who would have thought that it was such a trivial matter?
"I thought you must have forgotten about that event so what happened" asked Eric as he rested on a tree.
"how am I supposed to forget about the one person that ruined my life? So answer me, how much do you know her" reply Jason.
"I have been in this place for a very long time before she was brought here by the quartermaster" said Eric.
"Good, I need your help in getting my revenge. I could have asked Kristopher for help but he won't agree to it so you are my only hope here" Jason pleaded.
"and what makes you think I would help you exact your revenge? I mean it's Mira we are talking about here" asked Eric with a frown.
"because you are my friend Eric and that's what friends do, sticking to each other" replied Jason straight away without thinking.
Eric could not help but let out a laugh before calming himself down as he asked about his plans.
"Well, I just want to scare her really bad for the whole of one week" replied Jason with a serious look on his face.
"That's a really scary plan you have there but I doubt you would be able to execute it since it won't be easy to meet her given the defense of where she's living" commented Eric.
"That's why I ask for your help Eric with your knowledge of this whole quarter, I would be able to get my revenge on her without getting caught" said Jason with a smile.
"Even with my help I still doubt you would be able to get through their defense without getting caught," replied Eric as he let out a sigh.
Hearing him saying they won't be able to get past the defense, Jason begins to wonder if they are under the guidance of the sect disciples only for Eric to tell him they are under the hunter guard. He became silent as the memory of the hunter carrying the weird looking buffalo with wings was still fresh in his head.
"I'm sure you must have gotten the point by now so there is no point for you to carry on with that plan" said Eric after seeing the look on his face.
Jason did not give him any reply as he just stood there with a defeated look on his face knowing fully well it would be suicide to continue with the plan since the hall is also where they prepare the meal.
"Just forget about her for now alright" said Eric once more after not getting a reply from Jason before going back into the hut.
After Eric left him, Jason didn't return to the hut as he continued to look at the hut from afar with a defeated look on his face as just at that moment, he suddenly saw Mira going inside the hut and the motivation to get his revenge ignited once more.
"There has to be a way to bypass the defense" he said before going back to the hut.
