Chapter 29 - The Destruction From A Missile (29)

Previously - Foisal and other police officers start shooting at them, but suddenly the zombies collapse, turning into lifeless bodies. The black matter detaches from these bodies and begins heading toward the city center.

Now-

All dark matter then started to hit each other and started to create a creature which was slowly creating a shape of a huge entity.

"What is that thing? It's huge. " Tamim questions seeing the creation of the new entity,  his voice tinged with concern.

"It's not the time to dwell on that or engage in a battle. We need to prioritize saving more people first," Faria responds, determination evident in her voice as she swiftly flies off to search for survivors.

Tamim, utilizing his X-ray vision, spots two children hidden inside a small shop and begins making his way towards them.

Beside Nadim, a soul sorcerer expresses his astonishment, "What the hell is that? It's massive."

Nadim shakes his head, his expression grim. "I have no idea. I've never seen anything like it."

Arij, now in his dragon form, arrives at the scene and lands on a nearby building. "We can't rush into attacking without understanding what we're dealing with. I'll get closer to gather information, and we'll strike when the time is right," he commands

The monster became a huge creature of three heads and some tentacles holding it up and it had three heads and it continued to be bigger.

Arij ascends towards the dark monster, deftly dodging its attacks. However, the monster extends its tentacles , attempting to seize him.

Arij manages to evade the grasp, inching closer. But as he approaches, the monster conjures more appendages, each trying to ensnare him.

Despite Arij's efforts to resist, one of the tentacles grabs him from behind, overpowering the dragon. The touch proves fatal, causing Arij's entire body to erupt in a devastating explosion. The monster consumed the body.

BSSB Office-

Endro, a middle-aged man clad in a blesser, his name labeled as Endro, speaks into the phone with a sense of urgency.

Endro: "Sir, there are still people inside. We can still save them."

Unknown: "I am the president. If you defy my order, you know the consequences. There are hardly any survivors left in this city, and waiting any longer could allow the monster to reach populated areas, resulting in even more casualties. Drop the NK-12 on the monster immediately."

Endro: "Understood, sir."

Endro then places a call to Foisal.

Foisal: "Yes, sir. Please provide your instructions."

Endro: "Inform all rescue workers to evacuate the area. We are initiating the NK-12 strike on the monster."

Foisal: "But, sir, that could obliterate the entire city."

Endro: "It's a presidential order. Act swiftly."

Foisal: "Yes, sir."

Foisal then contacts all the soul sorcerers.

Foisal: "Everyone, evacuate the city immediately. We are initiating the NK-12 strike on the monster."

"Understood, sir," the soul sorcerers respond in unison. However, one female sorcerer among them is visibly distraught, tears streaming down her face due to Arij's recent death.

A compassionate soul sorcerer woman gently consoles her and guides her towards safety.

As the NK-12 missile hurtles towards Dakka 3rd, aimed at the dark monster, it nearly makes contact. Yet, the creature, in a display of intelligence, creates a void within its body, diverting the missile's path towards Dakka 4th.

In the BSSB office, urgency fills the air as Indro commands the missile launcher to alter its trajectory. However, the operator grimly reports that the monster has absorbed all nearby electrical energy, rendering any course correction impossible.

"Damn it! If it hits the mountain, there's a significant risk it'll reach city 4th," Indro laments, watching the impending disaster.

Tamim, healing a kid who had completely lost his leg, and while Tamim was regenerating the kid, the kid was crying. While this tamim saw the missile, it was going to hit the mountain.

Before Tamim could react, but the kid gets senseless, Tamim looks at the kid and realizes that the kid got senseless because of bleeding and pain.

At that moment, Faria, who saw the missile, flew toward it and tried to open two portals, one in front of the missile and another in front of the monster.

Tamim saw this from afar, thinking, "Thanks God, she is here. She will take care of this. I must take this kid to a safe place." Tamim moved his focus to regenerating the kid's leg and looked at the leg. "Ok, healing others is as sane as healing myself, but it's not automatic. I must concentrate my anger on regeneration based on the shape of the leg he used to have. It's like reversing the state, like before. This is what Faria said and regenerated a woman a few moments ago instantly, but my healing is slow."

While opening the portal, it suddenly closed. Faria tried to open it again, but it didn't work.

"What the hell? Why the hell did it not work? Did I run out of power?" Faria thinks and starts flying toward the missile and thinks, "Wait, if my power is over, then how am I flying? Crab,  it's not time to think about this. I need to make a plan."

BSSB Office -

Indro and the others in the room stared at the monitor, puzzled by what they saw.

"The screen shows a figure flying towards the missile. Sir, what is that? It looks like a person," the operator exclaimed.

Indro frowned, studying the screen intently. "It doesn't seem to be a Soul Sorcerer, and it's not wearing their uniform either."

The Scene -

Faria assessed her options as she flew towards the missile, her mind racing with urgency.

"I have two choices," she thought to herself. "I could try to change the missile's direction using telekinesis, but if I fail, it could mean disaster. The missile will hit the mountain, and the city nearby will be in danger of the explosion."

Determined, Faria reached the missile and grabbed it from below, gently exerting pressure to alter its course.

Faria made a split-second decision, leaving the missile suspended in the air, poised to strike the monster. However, as she realized the monster's tactic to evade the missile by creating a hole within itself, panic surged through her.

"Wait, if it dodges the missile again, it'll hit Dakka 1 City!" Faria's mind raced with the gravity of the situation. Determined not to let disaster strike, she flew back to intercept the missile, gripping it firmly from below.

As they approached the monster, Faria formulated a plan. "If I can hurl it inside the monster, it might just work," she strategized, preparing to execute her daring maneuver. But before she could act, the monster's dark tentacles ensnared her from both sides, immobilizing her as the missile detonated.

Meanwhile, Tamim, having safely healed the injured boy, surveyed the city from a distance. His heart sank as he witnessed the devastation caused by the explosion, realizing Faria was caught in the blast.

"Faria was with the missile," Tamim thought. With a determined resolve, he teleported towards the city, ensuring the boy remained safe.

Upon arrival, Tamim was met with a scene of utter destruction. Amidst the rubble, he spotted a fragment of black fabric and a bloodied shoe.
