Mansion Kang
Sunny comes out of her room while Jack is standing there looking around.
"Ma'am, why are you up? Please, go back to sleep."
"I can't. Hey, how many people left?"
"Since Zax is with Joe now. It's leave me and Fox. why?"
"Tell Fox to gather all the directors, you come with me."
"Fox gather all the directors now," said Jack on their communication line.
Jack followed Sunny from behind, they went to her study room. She opened the door but she was surprised for a moment, she didn't know, Sok-ji left all the equipment, and his smell hadn't left the room.
It's like he is still there.
All of him is still here.
"Wait, you call him Joe?" she refused to be sad about that and asked another question to Jack.
"It's Zax's idea, we can't pronounce Sok-ji it sounds weird so Zax's called him Joe, and we just followed it. It's convenient."
She went quiet for a moment, then she shook her head. She turned on the the computer and saw the monitor screen, the wallpaper was the photo of them in front of her house went they were caught by the journalists.
That was full of memories and emotions, they fought once, and this happens when Sok-ji leaves his house and sneaks out to her house.
"Ma'am, what happened?" Jack asked, interrupting her thoughts.
Sunny rotated the monitor screen. "You look at this."
Jack looked at the monitor screen but he didn't understand it was written in Korean he understood when he saw the Seoul police logo.
"Is this about the house?"
She nodded. "Yeah, this is the subpoena that I have to go there on my own, it can't be replaced by an Attorney."
"Ok, but Zax needs to be with you, he's your doctor."
"Zax is looking after Sok-ji, and Jin is there, I'll be fine."
"Then I'll go with you."
"No, Jack I need you here, I need you to keep your eyes open."
"Do you expect something?"
"Ya, even is it the worst."
Knock... Knock
"Come in."
"Ma'am, the directors are here."
"Tell them I'll be there in a minute."
"Yes ma'am."

Sunny looks at the screen, and there Jae-young calls her. "Jack wait outside."
"Yes ma'am."
"Yes, what is up?" Sunny answered.
"Lay told you? The police letter has arrived."
"He did. I need to be there, right?"
"Yeah, you have to go back to Seoul. And I know you have problems leaving your company. I and the others have a plan."
"Wow, that's great to think of a way for me, your plan?"
"Since you are the only one who has access to the CIA, you need to ask them to escort you to the airport, and for your father's will, ask one of your directors or the company lawyer to accompany you."
"I don't need CIA protection, my securities can handle this. My directors are all here, I'll discuss what I will do. I'll ask one of them to accompany me to Seoul."

Jack went to Sunny's room and she entered the meeting room, but as he expected, none of the directors today were happy, they were quite annoyed because they had to leave at this hour.
"Why are your security knocking on my door at 2 AM? The hell Sun," said Milton.
"Where is Gerard?"
"Michael called him, he is in Chicago."
"This hour? What are they doing?"
"Call Mike, Gerard just follow his order."
"OK."
Sunny takes out the letter that she has, Norman takes the letter and then immediately gives it to Lim because it is written in Korean.
"Subpoena? You were called for the interrogation?" Lim Asked.
"A warrant from the Gangnam Police in Korea, I had to go to Korea myself. The calls cannot be represented by a lawyer."
"I think everything is clear, you can't leave because Director Kang's will is clear," said Norman.
"You forgot about what happened yesterday? Erlan even sent his men here to kill you," continued Milton.
"Sun, if you go there, what should we say later? You can't go anywhere," Lim added.
"I know about that, but I'm not going because I want to, I have to answer the call, otherwise things will get more complicated. I knew you guys would talk about that, so I'll go anyway," Sunny answered.
"Hey, watch your mouth!" shouted Derrick.
"You can yell at me every time you get mad at me Derrick. But I think I have an offer to you all."
"Offer?" Lim is quite confused.
"If the offer was good, how do we maintain your security?" Derrick asked.
"Fox will come with me to the airport, when I get to Seoul my bodyguard from JL Enterprise will take over, and one of you will come with me to Seoul as a guarantee that I will still return to L.A."
"One of us?" Milton sounds quite confused about her scheme.
"Who would you choose?" Lim asked.
"Derrick."
"Me? Are you kidding? Did we get close enough to be a travel partner?"
"I think we're close enough."
As usual, Derrick tapped his fingers on the table playing with his usual rhythm, he played from slow, moderate, and finally lightning fast and finally stopped. He had found the answer.

The other directors left the room and Jack came back in carrying what she asked for.
"Ma'am," he said.
"Thank you, hey prepare for tomorrow morning, you stay at the Mansion and Fox will see me off."
"But, I can't let you go just like that."
"Jack, listen to me. Fox will drive me and Derrick to the airport, you will be here and keep your eyes open, that's an order."
"Yes ma'am."
Jack came out and now it was just the two of them in the room. Derrick and Sunny. Even though the two of them seem to never get along, they both actually understand each other's thoughts.
Derrick processed his thoughts, what happened seemed like something Sunny was hiding from him.
"What else do you want to talk about? Is there any connection between Walter coming to the mansion and Joe leaving with Zax?"
"You even know that? Who's your eyes?"
"Calm down okay, only Fox. You want to tell me about that?"
"We are not talking about that. I'll fix it, in Korea."
"So he's leaving too?"
"This call, this letter, is meant to happen."
"What do you mean? You know this is coming?"
"Eventually ya, I know about it. So the reason why I blew up my house is because I need to go there, my team knows about The Will, so I just take some action, a make sense one."
"By blowing up your entire house? That was a make-sense decision? Are you serious?"
"This is what happened now. Sok-ji is coming here because he was sent by the Korean Intelligence Agency to get me, so I can go to Korea to finish my case, the oldest one, the case that has been off the grid for the past 5 years. But something is changing."
"Because he's going to Korea on his own, or because of Walter?"
"No, because the main suspect is open about his political views, and he opened himself to the public now, after I went public for the JL Enterprise, and the other suspect I just found out it's my friend's father."
"Your friend's father is the other suspect, not the main suspect?"
"5 years ago we didn't know anything about that, even though we didn't know anything about this man."
"So basically you said that you know the main suspect first other than the side suspect?"
"After what happened, I think what we found that day, now doesn't make any sense. Why me, my senior, and the prosecutor know the main suspect first other than the side suspect."
"It's impossible Sun, it leaves 1 reason to make all this make sense."
"What is it?"
"Someone is playing with you 5 years ago."
"So you think, the main suspect I know now, is not the main suspect at all?"
"Maybe he is or maybe he isn't. But, it doesn't make any sense if you know him first before any suspect. Wait, is he approaching you first?"
"What do you mean?"
"How did you know him in the first place?"
"I don't know. The far I remember was Tae-guk said he had a tip about the sex scandal of the presidential candidate."
"You don't even know about the case at all? Someone sent you something and you just trusted it? You don't even look at who sent that?"
"No. I just realized maybe something is not right and doesn't add up at all. It's like I forget about something."
"Your investigation sucks, even the case is not from you and your friends, it is from someone you don't even know. Fine so now, you get what you wanted. You will go to Korea and now what? What do you want to say to me?"
"Can we stay for a while and let me investigate the case?"
"I'll see what I can do. But first, we stay for one week. If the case is not finished in one week, we're back."
"One week? This is a huge case, Derrick, I can't finish this case in only one week."
"My hands are tight Sun, I can just let you spend all this month in Korea."
"How about this," Sunny handed over the blue envelope that Jack had brought.
"What is it?" Derrick opened the envelope and read it.
"It's a plan for my new building in Korea. The one that we argue about. My friends in entertainment not much, only Jae Young and Sok-ji, but, this company will be handling many artists across the country, so I want to make a company like this in Korea and make all the artists can make promotions in or out of America."
"This is a big plan. You think this is going to work?"
"I don't know, what do you think?"
"Me? Why me?"
"This is going to be a big agreement between K-4, DFK, and JL Enterprise."
"Like I said this is a big plan, you want me to supervise this project?"
"Yeah, do you want to do it?"
"Do you want to do it?" Derrick asked again.
"I wanna do it thou..."
"Then let's do this. This project will give us some time."
"Thank you."

The days passed quickly before she could rest in peace but, she and Derrick had to leave again.
"Are you ready?"
"Did you get some sleep?" Derrick asked again.
"It's too revealing, isn't it?"
"Well, it is. Wear sunglasses your face is really miserable."
She put her sunglasses back, took a deep breath, then got into the car.
