Chapter 1 - Something is wrong!

"hah.. hah.... hah...."

In the forest of Blooming Flowers north in the kingdom of Falling leaves, a young man who appears to be in his twentys was laying in the ground while gasping for breath and appeared to be severely injured.

Looking at his ragged appearance, with half open eyes and a scary looking bloody scar in his right chest it appears that his day of meating his ancestors was coming soon. However that was only what he looked like from the outside because deep with his eyes and facial expression that was brimming with the desire to live you could see that he was not kicking the bucket so soon.

"hah... Today... really... isn't my day...". Remembering how he got into his predicament the youth couldn't help clancing at him self.

Looking at this John couldn't help feeling more aggrieved than being happy. Anyone could tell that he had been isekaid into another world because of being able to view his own status while looking like a salary man from Earth. Yes he not from this world and after getting back from work feeling very tired so jumped on his bed the second he got home he suddenly woke up in this world.

This was the start of his nightmare. After waking up, he found himself laying on a nice looking forest with green and tall trees everywhere. After making sure he was not dreaming he was very happy to be in another world because he always dreamed of being in another world to escape from reality to fantasy.

To be completely certarn of this thought he tried calling out his status and it worked, he was able to see it. He very happy and when he scrolled down he saw that he even had a unique skill, "a cheat" he called it.

"It seems like am going to be the hero of the world, no the protagonist in fact. Once I level up I can be the strongest and all women will fall for me John Cain!!." Remembering the expression on his face full of arrogance and pride he couldn't help want to turn back time and punch himself. This was because although the forest looked beautiful and peaceful it was actually filled with dangerous creatures.

The more he shouted, the more his location was exposed to the world. By the time he realized this he was already surrounded by a group of four goblins. At first he thought since the goblins a one of the weakest monsters, he could defeat them easily. That was true because even though he never used his ability "six eyes", one of its abilities could passively slow down his perception making anything moving faster towards him to actually become slower in his vision.

Beating the four goblins was easy but what came after was what he considered a nightmare. That was because no matter how many goblins he beat using his fist which he considered stupid now that he thought about it, the fight almost never ended. "Something is wrong!!" it wasn't long before he was tired and realized that it wasn't only four goblins but perhaps a group of more than fifteen goblins.

It wasn't long before he was almost sliced in two pieces but eveded in the nick of time but was still sliced in the right side of his chest. "Aaaaaah" he cried out because it was extremely painful but forced him self to hold on and fight. Even though he was a salary man, growing up he was a delinquent so he often had to fight others his age or older. Clenching his teeth he became to run when he saw a gap between the goblins surrounding him.

There were still six goblins so fighting against them while injured was a bad move. While running he suffered more injuries because the goblins were still on his tail chasing him. While eveding the claws of goblins he was questioning why he was transported in this goblin filled forest instead of Castel to be welcomed by a princess or goddess but was put in this forest to die.

"What can I do..... How can I survive this!!". He was also thinking that maybe someone will come to save him but that thought was destroyed the moment one of goblins punched his back sending him flying. He flew three meters before sliding down and almost blacked out from the pain. While looking at the goblins that had faces full of pleasure and playfulness like a cat looking at a mouse he couldn't help but feel little fear of death

It was the first time that he was in the situation of being preyed upon. Before his mind was completely filled with fear he remembered that one of his skills was heat vision. Even though he didn't have time to understand how it was used he remembered superman from his past life, looked at the goblin coming towards him and glared at it with all his will. At first nothing happened but when he thought he was done for purple light glowed in his eyes.

A sharp purple light shot out of his eyes and passed through the goblin at the front toward the goblin at the back in a straight line. It also piaced it shooting out at the back of its head. The two goblins dropped with a thud and every one was silent. Seeing this he didn't hesitate to fire at other goblins killing them before they could react.

With a thud all goblins dropped down. The moment he wanted to celebrate and try to get away from the corpses to not attract other monsters he suddenly hit by a huge headache. He almost passed out but held on and tried to troll away. After distancing himself at about a hundred meters he could not continue. Lying on his back, looking at the sky he realized that using too much mana on heat vision resulted in almost blanking out from fatigue.

While lying there he suddenly realized that maybe he was no the protagonist.
