Kakashi almost jumped to the ceiling when Tomo yelled.
"No, it's nothing. I'm just doing my job" Kakashi paused. "What are you thanking me for?"
"If you hadn't defeated that demon, we could... All of us at the academy would have been dead. No matter how many we dispatched, they just keep in coming. We needed to find the main body but we couldn't, when we discovered that you were battling it, Yaze-sensei ordered us to leave it to you. He really believed in you"
"I didn't save you, you are still hurt"
"This?" Tomo said and pointed to his arm. "It'll heal up, beside, if I hadn't been stubborn and tried to run to where you were to help, I wouldn't have gotten injured in the first place"
"Why would you do that?" Kakashi asked, surprised.
"I really don't know, maybe it because I wanted to make sure everyone was safe. Hahaha" Tomo laughed. "Do you really need a reason to save someone?"
Kakashi thought for a while.
"I guess you don't"
