"Oh, I almost forgot. Kakashi, meet your sensei, Yaze," Natski informed. "He will be the one taking you on missions, so make sure you listen to him."
Someone opened the door and walked in; it was like he was waiting for the exact moment to be called out before he came in.
Yaze was surprisingly blonde, with yellow eyes. He had a serious look on his face, almost like he was bored or something. Apart from that, he's handsome—not as handsome as me, though. He had a headset settling on his neck. Maybe he likes music. He should be in his early twenties. And his hands was wrapped with bandages.
"Miss Natski, there's been a report of missing people around Mejiro, Shinjuku," he informed. "It happens between 8 p.m. and 12 p.m., and sometimes a whole family goes missing."
"Shinjuku?" Natski asked. "Has anyone seen anything unusual in the area?"
"No, ma'am," Yaze answered.
"Then, I want you to take your team and investigate and report back to me."
"Yes, ma'am," Yaze answered.
"Kakashi and Ayaka," Natski called out.
"Yes," we both replied.
"You are with Yaze on your mission, so listen to him."
"Yes ma'am!" We all left the office, leaving Mira and Natski behind.
I went back to my room to take a bath and change into my uniform, and to be honest, the uniform wasn't bad; it looked like the same uniform that every normal high school student wears. It was a black pair of trousers and a long sleeve shirt, and you can customize the uniform, so I asked for white stripes on some parts of the shirt since it was my sister's favorite color, and I wore a red T-shirt with the picture of my family tied to a black string that I wore. I was ready to go.
Yaze and Ayaka were at the gate waiting. Ayaka was really cute in her uniform but not as cute in her nightgown. No, what'm I talking about??. Her uniform was also customized, but no new design was made. The skirt was short, but she was wearing long leggings underneath it, and her shirt was short. Reviewing her tight singlet shows how perfect her body was. Her blue hair matched perfectly with her eyes, and her beauty was astonishing. And she was still wearing her cat outfit.
"Are you going to keep drooling or compliment me?" Ayaka asked.
"Sorry, I was lost for a moment," I said, cleaning my mouth with my sleeve. "You look cute in your uniform."
"Really?!!" She seemed happy with my compliment. "I really work hard on it to make it perfect."
"I see, the uniform really looks great on you." Mira had told me to be nice to her because of her past; she didn't tell me anything because she believes that Ayaka needs to tell me herself.
"Kakashi, did you know that our uniform is made to be indestructible?." Ayaka asked.
"Whoa!, Really?"
"It's not actually indestructible as Ayaka had said." Yaze interrupted. "The fabric used for the uniform are actually made from your karma, so there are as strong as you are. Attacks that can't injure you won't affect the uniform"
I looked at Yaze; his uniform is the same topical uniform everyone wears, but it was a perfect fit for him.
"Can we get going?" Yaze asked. "I have other things to do"
"You're so uptight, Sensei" Ayaka said.
"Okay," I answered. "But how are we going to get there?"
"It's easy. Just jump," Yaze informed me before jumping almost fourty meters into the air and landing on top of the gate. "Let's go; we'll use the forest to get there faster."
"How did you do that?" I was amazed; I don't know that supernaturals can jump that high.
"Kakashi, just concentrate your karma on your feet and jump; the concentrated energy will boost your movement," Ayaka told me before jumping.
Okay, here we go.
I jumped and landed on the gate, but I slipped. Yaze caught me before I could fall and held me under his armpit, using his hand to wrap around my waist.
"At least, you won't fall off if I hold you like this," Yaze said, and Ayaka started laughing.
"What did you say? Leave me alone; I can jump on my own, and Ayaka, you better stop laughing. Hey, answer me, dammit." I argued and grumbled as Yaze and Ayaka jumped without paying me any attention.
We got to the city, and it was really amazing. I wish Tokah was here to see it. All were so tall, as if they wanted to touch the sky. To avoid detention by the citizens, Yaze decided that we should jump on top of the building.
I mean, what's wrong with taking a bus or train?
We got to Mejiro station. Yaze told us to go our separate ways so we could ask around and check if we noticed anything before he left us.
"I feel like I'm going to pass out" I complained. "I was going too fast"
"What??" Ayaka yelled. "You didn't even walk, Yaze-sensei carried you all the way here"
"That's why I'm going to pass out, he was squeezing my groin too much" I said. "Wait!"
"What is it?" Ayaka asked.
I took out the invitation card that Hinata's parents gave me and took a look at the location.
"Hinata's parents live in Shinjuku; I should visit them now that I have the opportunity."
"Huh?" Ayaka said she was surprised. "We are on mission, and you want to go on a visit?"
"Her parents are rich; who knows what they might give me? You can come with me if you want to."
"No, thanks. I'll going to respect Yaze-sensei's order. You can go if you want."
"Okay," I replied, and I started walking. She held my hand.
"Wait! I don't mean you should actually leave me behind."
"But you said you're not coming."
"Well, I'm going now. But I'm not doing this because of you; I just think that as teammates, we should do things together."
"Now, I get it," I said, realizing something.
"Get what?"
"You're a tsundere!"
"I'm not a tsundere!!" Ayaka yelled.
"Okay, let's go," I said, and Ayaka nodded. "Tsundere"
"I have told you, I'm not a tsundere!!!!" Ayaka yelled angrily. She really looks cute when she's angry. "Wait, Kakashi. Do you know where you are actually going?. Because I'm sure this is your first time here."
"Yeah, we just have to ask around. And you can do your questioning while I ask for directions."
"Okay"
I asked around till we were able to locate Hinata's home. I walked to the door to knock.
"And I have more things," I said.
"What is that?"
"Tell me if you like me now because they have a daughter and..."
"I've told you, I'm not a tsundere. I don't like you; I just met you last night."
"Oh yeah," I thought to myself, still talking out loud. "And you wanted me to father your child; you really seem so desperate."
"It's not my fault; I was just sleep-talking." She just made an excuse.
Without saying much, I rang the doorbell, and someone answered.
The door opened, revealing a teenager about seventeen years old.
"Can I help you?" She asked in a nice tone, but I could still feel fear in her voice.
"Yes, we are from the ASE, and we just want to ask a few questions," Ayaka replied.
"Okay, come in then." We walked inside as she told us to sit down. She seemed relieved to hear that we're from the academy. "What do you want to ask about?"
Ayaka whispered to me that I should just leave all the talking to her.
Hinata came running to me and hugged me happily.
"Kakashi-sensei, I didn't expect you to come so soon," Hinata said. Her sister cleared her throat. "Oh, I'm sorry. This is my sister, Amai."
"Nice to meet you," I said.
"No, the pleasure is mine. Thank you for what you did for my sister," Amai thanked.
"It was nothing," I replied.
"Kakashi-sensei, my parents are not at home now, but we can hang out with us," Hinata suggested.
"I'm not your sensei, at least not yet," I replied. "I'm not here for that."
"Then why are you here, sensei?" Hinata asked.
"Where are my manners?. Please wait while I get you some cups of tea," Amai said before calling Hinata to come with her.
She came back with two cups of tea and offered them to me and Ayaka.
"We got reports of missing people around this part of the city," Ayaka said, then took a sip of her tea. While I tried to drink mine, it burned my tongue, and I brought out my tongue and blew it with my hand. "We just want to know whether you saw anything unusual that could help us."
"You heard about it too?" Amai asked. "It started about two weeks ago. I'm sorry, but that's all I can say; I haven't seen anything. Most of what I can tell you are just rumors that you might have heard already."
"Okay, we will be taking our leave then," Ayaka announced.
"Wait!!!" Hinata shouted.
"Huh??" I answered. "What's wrong, Hinata?"
"I might be able to tell you something," she said shyly.
"Do you know anything about it?" Ayaka asked.
"Yes, the cause of it is actually my friend. His name is Tomura," Hinata replied. She looked shocked; I knew there was more to it, and she saw it all.
_HINATA'S FLASHBACK_
Tomura's father wasn't the type of father who supported his son's decision. It wasn't always like that; his father was a kind and gentle man who would do anything for his family. His mother was a human who worked as an executioner for the ASE; she was strong and praised for being a human but still had achieved so much. Tomura has pride in his mother and has always said he wants to be like her.
