Premise - Although the Power System is based on mana, I want to make a brief explanation about the Power System of this world because I made some changes that help me in making the story.

PRANA - Prana (or Pure Mana) is the primary energy of the universe that regulates the laws of the universe; we can found it in all the air and space that surrounds the universe, and consequently, Earthland. We can find pure mana in some volcanoes, in some water sources and even in the space;
VITAL ENERGY - Vital energy is an energy derived from the Prana, which causes living beings, such as humans, dwarves, elves, orcs, and even trees, to live; without vital energy, no living being would be able to live.
Those who possess a high vital energy than normal people, are used to perceive the energy around them: these beings are called Medium.
MANA - Mana is an energy deriving from the vital energy; Mana is present, in a smaller form in every living being: many of these, can not perceive it, because they have a poor affinity with the prana around them and/ or have a vital energy not elevated; there are beings who, however, in addition to having a high vital energy, much more than that of a Medium, they also have an innate affinity with the prana; this causes the small trace of mana within them to begin to expand to become large enough to cause a chain reaction, drastically changing a person with these characteristics: those who meet this process are called "Awakened", and are able to generate and manipulate energy (mana) within their body.
The process of awakening occurs spontaneously within 10 years of age: if you exceed 10 years of age without go through the awakening, it is unlikely that it can happen in an old age; first the body meets the awakening, and the higher the affinity with mana. Through techniques and studies, it is possible to know if a person can awaken, but it is not an infallible technique and it is not uncommon to see a person awaken after being told that it is not possible.
Mana in a living being is generated by the nucleus, which is usually in the abdominal area; then, the mana, during its use, flows into special veins, which are called "Mana-Stream"; without these special veins, it would be impossible to use mana and create any kind of magic.
ELEMENTS - Every living being (Humans, Dwarves, Orcs, Elves), has its own kindred element; the elements are the "attributes" that every awakened person has, manipulated by mana;
The 4 main elements are:
Element of the Fire;
Element of the Air;
Element of the Earth;
Element of Water;
These are the main and most common elements of Earthland; Thanks to mana, it is possible to control these Elements, and the more the affinity with mana increases with the passing of the years, and the more control over the elements will improve;
When the affinity with the element reaches a certain level, it may happen that the awakened may develop an additional element, deriving from the first: these elements are called "deviant" Elements or derived Elements; these elements are more difficult to control, and have a much higher power than the simple elements.
As mentioned above, every living being has its own kindred element from birth, which is revealed upon awakening; but at the same time, every race on Earthland has elements of "default":
- Elves, for example, have an high affinity with the mana, but they can only control the element of the Water; Because of their high affinity for the Mana and for the element of water, many of the elves have the predisposition to unlock many of the deviant elements of the water.
- Dwarves instead, can control the element of earth and/or fire; Due to their high affinity with the earth element, they too have a natural predisposition to manipulate the deviant elements of the earth; in particular, they gain control over iron.
- The Orcs can only control the element of Fire; fire doesn't have deviant elements, but is the most destructive element.
- Finally, humans/Earthlings have the ability to control all 4 elements, but besides the fact that it is almost impossible to control 4 because of the instability of the elements, and since compared to other races, Humans usually do not have a great affinity with mana, they prefer to focus more on the first element that manifests itself after awakening.
Finally, those who manipulate the elements are called ELEMENTAL WIZARD;
