As Abomination charged towards Specter, the civilians scattered, running in fear. Some, too terrified to move, found themselves directly in Abomination's path. With a roar, Abomination prepared to swing his massive arm to clear his way, but Specter acted swiftly. He controlled the golden floating orbs to block Abomination's advance, and the orbs shimmered as they deployed a golden, transparent energy shield, protecting the immobilized civilians.
"What the hell is this?" Abomination roared, his fists pounding against the energy barrier with a thunderous, eerie noise. "Fight me, you coward! Remove this, now!"
Suddenly, a swirling sandstorm swept through the area, whisking the civilians away from harm. Sandman had arrived, forming a massive sand cloud that transported people to safety. Spider-Man and Nightbird leaped into action, aiding the evacuation. Spider-Man, seeing Abomination, couldn't help but comment, "What in blazes is that?"
Specter, noting the presence of his team despite his intentions to handle the situation alone, asked, "What are you doing here?"
Nightbird, swooping in to save more civilians, flew beside Specter and replied, "April notified us about the commotion. Why didn't you tell us?"
"The enemy is too dangerous," Specter responded. "He's capable of delivering 50-100 tons of power. One punch could kill you, which is why I didn't want you here." He gave a vague number as he could see that Abomination doesn't seem to have full control over his powers right now. Either his transformation isn't complete or since this is his first transformation that he doesn't have full grasp of his strength yet.
Sandman, returning to his humanoid form, float beside Specter as sand swirl around his body lifting him up, Flint then countered, "Boss, did you forget why you built this team in the first place? You can't always go solo."
Spider-Man swung beside Specter, taking in his new, imposing look. "Whoa! New look. Are you going for that Mega Man vibe?" as he looks at Specter with his disproportional arms that seems to almost reach his knees and his bigger framed limbs and body.
Nightbird shook her head at Spider-Man's comment and said, "Not now, Spidey." Refocusing on the task, she asked, "So, any details on this guy?"
Specter, towering above them, explained, "Emil Blonsky, spec-ops soldier under General Ross. He's injected with Super Soldier Serum and Gamma Genes, a military experiment gone wrong. He's capable of exerting tremendous strength, around 100 tons."
Nightbird, helping a group trapped in their vehicles by ripping the doors off, sighed, "The military still can't quit with the experiments, I see." As she remembered the Military files she got with the help of Skynet back then, the time when she was still developing her own serum, remembering the files that showed that the military had never gave up on the thought of recreating and improving the super soldier that they have once created.
As the civilians gathered around the scene, their voices buzzed with excitement and disbelief. They pointed and whispered among themselves, their eyes wide with awe.
"Whoa, is that Spiderman?" exclaimed one bystander, his finger trembling as he pointed at the familiar armored red-gold-and-blue figure swinging gracefully among the wreckage. Sprouting six mechanical spider legs lifting wreckage and helping people out.
"Yeah, it's him! And look, he's with Nightbird!" another person chimed in, admiration evident in their voice. "She's even more stunning in person." As they saw her flew off atop buildings, bringing down people to safety.
A small group of onlookers gazed up at Nightbird, marveling at the metallic wings that glinted in the sunlight. "Those wings are amazing," one person murmured, wondering what is feels to fly on their own.
Across the crowd, a few individuals watched Sandman with a mixture of wonder and wariness. "Did you see that, he can control sand like that?" one person muttered, eyeing the shifting grains with a mixture of fascination and concern. "I wonder if he can use it to make us fall asleep, too."
As the heroes continued their work, the civilians remained transfixed, their admiration and curiosity growing with each passing moment. They were witnessing something extraordinary, something that would be talked about for years to come.
The civilians being help by the team, thank the Super Heroes that have come to their recue, they we're surprise when the heroes introduce them selves as a group called Overwatch, but their joy was cut short. When the rescued civilians, heard the cause of their current predicament, they cursed the military for their recklessness.
Their run-away experiment had destroyed not only their homes and possession, they even put their lives in danger, some even have lost their love ones, who they can never get back. They're barely keeping their hatred as some of them are standing near the Superheroes who are currently doing their best to help them.
A Pelican ship with the Overwatch logo quickly decloaked above Harlem. Four humanoid turtles sporting a tri weaved armored form fitting suit, in different colors of Blue, Purple, Red and Orange, jumped from the ship, boosters on their boots slowing their descent. Mikey, nervous about their first public deployment with other heroes and civilians watching, stood in front of Specter and saluted. "Specter, sir! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reporting for duty, sir!" His brothers facepalmed at Mikey's awkwardness.
Specter couldn't help but smile at Mikey's antics but maintained his focus given the dire situation as he controlled the gold orbs, to delay Abomination's rampage. "Go and help the people trapped in their vehicles and the buildings. Sandman and I will deal with Abomination."
The turtles nodded, quickly dispersing to aid the trapped civilians. Sandman shifted into a massive sand form, ready to back up Specter.
The people seeing the four Teenage Ninja Turtles for the first time screamed, "Ahhh more of them!" they we're frightened of their wits, thinking that the turtles are the same as Abomination a military experiment that has come to destroy their homes and attack them.
Nightbird, noticing the commotion, quickly flew over to calm the frightened civilians, her golden wings shimmering in the darkness like a beacon of hope. She saw a few people picking up stones and debris, ready to attack the turtles out of fear. Hovering above them, she raised her hands to signal peace.
"Everyone, please, calm down!" Nightbird called out, her voice steady and reassuring. "These four Turtles are part of our newly formed team called Overwatch. They're here to help us, not harm us." As she tried to pacify the forming mob.
A man holding a metal pipe shouted back, "How do we know we can trust them? They look like monsters!" The Turtles hearing someone called monsters pause for a moment, but their training made them hold their ground, they steal their resolved to help out, despite the criticism they received.
Nightbird landed gently in front of the man, her expression calm and empathetic. "I understand your fear, but I assure you, they are on our side. I'm Nightbird, and with Sandman, Spider-Man, and Specter, we've joined forces with the Turtles to protect you."
Sandman, forming a protective barrier of sand around a group of trapped civilians, protecting them from a crumbling building, lifted them to safety and chimed in, "Trust me, folks. These guys are heroes. They've saved countless lives already."
Spider-Man, swinging in to rescue a child from a collapsing building, added, "Look, I know it's a lot to take in, but these Turtles are the good guys. They're with us." He said, as he drop of the child with the rest of the people reuniting the kid with their family.
Specter, who's controlling the orbs deploying energy barriers, to temporarily trap Abomination, spared a moment to address the crowd. "Everyone, focus on getting to safety. Overwatch will handle the threat. Trust us." The civilians hearing Specter and the rest spoke, put their trust in them.
Some of them are already a well establish heroes and have seen them in action before, some we're even save by them before. A civilian who seems to be a fan of Specter said "Guys come on, Specter already said that their a team. He had saved us before, same with the others, lets trust them…" The citizens of Harlem hearing this nodded in agreement.
As the civilians were led to safety, the combined efforts of Overwatch allowed Specter to focus entirely on Abomination. The streets, filled with chaos moments before, now echoed with the coordinated efforts of heroes and the relieved voices of those being rescued.
Abomination who's currently being trap by energy shields, notice the newcomers and sneered. "More bugs for me to squash."
As Overwatch regroup, Specter was about give more details when he was suddenly interrupted. Skynet's voice crackled in Specter's coms, "Father, incoming trouble. Banner has just jumped off the helicopter."
Specter looked up to see Bruce Banner falling from the sky. "You just can't catch a break with these guys," he muttered. Activating his Sandevistan, he increased his speed, making everything around him seem to slow down.
Using the gravity control function on his cyber skeleton frame, he lightened his body and used the boosters on his back and feet to flash toward Banner. He controlled Banner's descent, ensuring he wouldn't be harmed. Enveloping Banner in an energy barrier to protect him, Specter then flashed back to the Overwatch team.
"Plan, boss?" Sandman called out, but was suddenly surprise when he saw Specter carrying someone.
Specter, carrying Banner, said, "Nightbird, Donatello, take Mr. Banner to the Pelican ship. Make sure he's safe and not agitated. Got it?"
Mikey and Spider-Man rubbed their eyes in disbelief. "What just happened? You were there, and then poof," while Leo, impressed by Specter's speed despite his massive armored body, shifted back to matters at hand. "Not now, Mikey. We need to help those in need."
Nightbird studied Banner and said, "Is this Doctor Banner? I just read his file sent by Skynet. He's the one who turns into the Hulk, right?"
Donatello, the technologically inclined turtle, added, "Dr. Banner, you're a nuclear physicist specializing in gamma radiation. I'm a fan, sir," trying to get Banner's attention.
Banner, recovering from his surprise, asked, "Wha… What just happened… Who are you guys?" He looked around, seeing Blonsky pounding against the golden energy barrier. "All of you need to get out of here now. I'll deal with him."
Specter replied firmly, "Negative. I need you to get out of here with Nightbird and Donatello. If you transform here, you'll endanger more people."
Banner argued, "But I'm the only one who can stop that Abomination!" He pointed at Blonsky.
Specter, using his magnetism powers, lifted all the metal debris around them, controlling it effortlessly. "This is not a request, Doctor," he said looking more eerie and frightening with those red and gold energy lines pulsating with power, he then wraps the metals around Abomination, buying them more time.
Banner, seeing the floating metals, gulped in shock. His mind raced, wondering how was this possible. Specter, not waiting for Banner to speak, turned to Nightbird. "Nightbird, please take him away. I don't want Hulk to create more problems for us. Donny, make sure to use the equipment on the ship to keep him calm and stable."
Donatello nodded. "I'll monitor his heart rate."
Specter continued, "I'll deal with Abomination. The rest of you, save as many civilians as you can. Sandman, help me distract him for a bit." Sandman nodded in agreement. Specter turned to the others. "Stay safe. Once you're done, avoid engaging the military and escape. Got it?"
Spider-Man, Nightbird, and the Turtles nodded, springing into action.
Abomination finally broke free from the energy barrier, roared, "Get back here, you pest!" as he hurled nearby cars at the golden orbs, trying to destroy them. Seeing this, Specter used his control over magnetism and stop the cars from causing damage. He then check the energy status of each orb, it seems that Abomination was able to deal them some damage and drained their energy even when they are empowered by Sun Reactors.
Specter, controlling the flying metal debris, made sure no one was harmed. Taking advantage of Abomination's distraction, Sandman transformed into his sand form, wrapping around Abomination and trying to bind him. Whips and sand tendrils, wrap around his torso, feet and arms, trying their best to slow him down.
"What the hell is this!?" Abomination yelled, easily breaking through the sandy bindings with ease. He then punches the sand with annoyance, but they just quickly reform without stop like an unending storm. The sand persisted, forming whips to bind him again and again.
Sandman reformed his face and said, "Stop struggling, you monster!" He could feel Abomination's immense strength as he broke through the bindings. Sandman formed spiked maces, hitting Abomination to slow him down.
"You can't stop me! You just a damned sand!" Abomination shouted.
Specter, hovering in the air with his thrusters, said, "No, we will stop you, Blonsky, here and now." He manipulated the magnetic fields, causing nearby metal objects—cars, lampposts, debris—to fly toward Abomination, pummeling him relentlessly.
Meanwhile, Overwatch continued to help the people of Harlem. Spider-Man and the Turtles rescued those trapped, calming civilians who initially reacted with fear. "We're with Spider-Man and Specter!" they explained, easing the panic.
Specter controlled the metal debris, warping it into long bars that wrapped around Abomination. People watching were awed by the sight of the floating metal.
The military, seeing this, looked up in disbelief. "What is going on!?"
Some Harlem citizens, amazed, said, "Woah, check it out, dude."
"Yeah, I can see it, but I'm still having a hard time believing it…"
A devotee knelt and prayed, "Oh god, please help us in our predicament…"
Specter tightened the metal around Abomination, wrapping him up, in a ball of steal. But knew it would only delay him temporarily. He shouted, "Sandman, get out of there now and help the others. I don't want you caught up in our fight." Trusting Specter, Sandman nodded and moved away.
Once Sandman was at a safe distance, Specter hurled the metal debris at Abomination, pummeling him relentlessly. Abomination roared in fury, trying to deflect the onslaught but finding himself overwhelmed.
Desperate, Abomination lunged at Specter, aiming to bring him down with sheer brute force. Specter deftly evaded; his agility unmatched even in his massive frame. He landed a series of rapid punches, each with the strength of 100 tons, while simultaneously striking Abomination with metal debris he controlled, driving the hulking brute back.
The pavement beneath them cracked and buckled under the force of their blows. Specter's golden orbs hovered around him, emitting shimmering shields and firing concentrated energy beams to keep Abomination off balance. The sheer power of each punch and the relentless barrage of metal debris and energy beams made it clear that Specter was no easy opponent.
Abomination roared in frustration, swinging his massive arms wildly, trying to land a hit on Specter. But Specter's using his Sandevistan enhanced and increase his speed tremendously, coupled with his strategic use of gravity control, it allowed him to stay out of reach. He would dart in with blinding speed, landing devastating blows after blows and then retreats before Abomination could counterattack.
"Stand still and fight me like a real man!" Abomination bellowed, his voice echoing through the ruined streets with annoyance at Specters incredulous speed.
Specter responded with a cold, determined gaze. "Cut the crap Blonsky, you wanted a fight and you got that fight." he said, manipulating the magnetic fields around him. He lifted a nearby lamppost and twisted it into a massive spear, hurling it at Abomination with incredible force.
The makeshift spear struck Abomination in the chest, sending him staggering backward. Specter followed up by increasing the gravity around Abomination, making him feel as though he were being crushed by an invisible force. The ground beneath Abomination's feet cracked and sank under the immense pressure.
Abomination strained against the overwhelming gravity, muscles bulging as he fought to stay upright. "You think this will stop me?" he growled, taking a defiant step forward, despite the increased gravity.
Specter's eyes narrowed. "It's not about stopping you; it's about wearing you down." With a flick of his wrist, he sent a barrage of twisted metal beams and shattered concrete at Abomination, pummeling him from all sides.
"You can't keep this up forever!" Abomination shouted, his voice echoing through the ruined streets.
Banner, seeing how Specter was able to deal with Abomination, temporarily trusted these so-called superheroes. He agreed to leave, not just to let out Hulk and create more problems, but he was deftly fascinated by the sight of the humanoid turtles. "Okay, I'll trust you. Let's go," he said, turning to Nightbird and Donatello, wondering if the humanoid turtles, were the result of an accidental experiment like him.
Nightbird took advantage of Abomination fighting Specter, the nano machines on her back shifted as she spread her metallic wings. She lifted both Donny and Bruce Banner with grace by hand, carrying them over to the Pelican ship. Inside, Banner was amazed by the advanced technology.
As Nightbird and Donatello secured Banner, Specter and Sandman continued their relentless assault on Abomination, determined to protect Harlem and its people at all costs. While the rest of the Overwatch team did their best to help out the people of Harlem, bringing them to safety.
