That evening, Lena sat down on the sofa in the living room of her house, exhausted but with a happy expression on her face. Stellan, her father, hadn't gotten off work yet. But her mother, Amalia, had just gotten off work to pick up Maja and Klara, her twin sisters, from kindergarten.
Amalia inquired daughter about candy store that was hers and friends'. Lena elaborated, sharing that large number of girls visited sweet shop today. Sophia co-owned the shop.
Lena shared more happily, "Guess who Mom? Wilhelm" Lena, contextually mentioned that Wilhelm assisted with drink serving. With a warm smile Lena spoke these words.
An expression of intrigue appeared on Amalia's face. "Wilhelm? Who's he?" she inquired.
"You know him, Mom," Lena rolled her eyes. "Wilhelm is the school's heartthrob. He is exceptionally beautiful. Not just looks he excels in academic areas. And he's good in extracurricular pursuits too."
Amalia chuckled, "Oh, that Wilhelm. Yes, I've seen him around before. He does look good, like a prince. I love his long straight blonde hair, it looks very shiny."
Amalia smiled warmly, "That's great to hear, Lena. I'm happy that you have such great friends."
Yawning, Lena answered, "Thanks, Mom. I'm just so dead tired from work today."
Amalia patted her on the head, "You did great, Lena. Now rest."
Lena closed her eyes and finally went to sleep, very thankful for friends and support—perhaps specifically for Wilhelm's charm today, too.
