After picking up his costume from the rental store, Wilhelm couldn't wait to try it on. As he slipped into the Renaissance-inspired outfit, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. It fit him perfectly, and he admired himself in the mirror as he tied back his long, blonde hair.
Just then, there was a knock at the door. When he opened it, he was surprised to see his mother Inger standing there with a mug of hot chocolate.
"Mom, what are you doing here?" Wilhelm asked, smiling.
Inger smiled back, "I was in the neighborhood and thought I would stop by and see how my son is doing. And I brought you some hot chocolate to keep you warm."
Wilhelm felt touched by his mother's gesture, "Thanks, Mom. I really appreciate it."
As Inger looked at her son in his costume, she couldn't help but feel proud. "You look so handsome and graceful, Wilhelm. I can tell you've been working hard on your performance."
Wilhelm grinned, "Thanks, Mom. I really hope you can come see me perform on the day of the event."
Inger hesitated, "I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it. I have a lot of work to do at the company, and it's been keeping me busy."
Wilhelm nodded, understanding his mother's busy schedule. "I understand, Mom. But if you can find the time, it would mean a lot to me to have you there."
Inger smiled, "I'll do my best, Wilhelm. You can count on my support."
Wilhelm felt grateful for his mother's love and support, and he knew that no matter what, he would give his best performance on the day of the event.Chapter 55"Trying on Costumes and Motherly Support"
Wilhelm, with his rented costume in hand, hurriedly dressed himself to try the costume. He wore the Renaissance attire and could barely contain his excitement. It fit him to perfection as he stood in front of the mirror binding up his long blonde hair and eyeing himself proudly.
There came a knock on the door just then. Opening it, he was surprised to find his mother Inger there, holding a mug of hot chocolate.
"Mom, what brings you here?" Wilhelm asked smilingly.
Smiling back, Inger said, "I was passing by the neighborhood and thought of dropping in to see how my son is doing. And I brought you some hot chocolate to keep you warm."
Wilhelm was deeply moved by what his mother did. "Thanks, Mom. I appreciate it."
Inger just couldn't help feeling proud as she looked at her son in his costume. "You look so handsome and graceful, Wilhelm. I know you really worked hard on your performance."
Wilhelm smiled. "Thanks, Mom. I hope you could come to watch me perform the day itself."
Inger hesitated, "I'm not sure that I can make it. I have a lot of work, and the company's been keeping me pretty busy."
Wilhelm nodded. He knew his mother was busy. "I understand, Mom. But it would really mean a lot to me if you can make time."
Inger smiled, "I'll do my best Wilhelm. You can count on my support." Wilhelm was bothered with his feelings and realised he has a good mother to support him no matter what he will do his best on the day of the event.
