Chapter 21 - Chapter 21:"The Wolf Attack"

During the free period in the afternoon, Wilhelm's class spoke about what had happened to the wolf attack on the middle school girl in the pine forest. All of them were in a shocked state and asked about the condition of the girl.

Emma broke in, "I heard that she might need a tetanus shot because of the wound on her arm from the wolf's fang. I hope they treat her better in the hospital."

Lena continued with, "We went to visit her during lunch break and she was still in a lot of pain. Then to see her like that, it was horrible."

Wilhelm murmured, nodding. All boiled down to agreement. Then he spoke more and showed another layer. "It is a reminder. We can't always trust the beauty of nature," he said. Pensive moments continued. Spoke on to add "We forgot. The wildlife. We know we should never take it for granted. It's fragile".

This was followed by comments from Sebastian. "Of course, this is important to bear in mind; incidents such as these are rare and a contributing factor may simply be carelessness. Let us not make a fuss of few incidences. We have to continue enjoying the outdoors."

The group nodded in agreement, and each member of that group was praying for the little girl's quick recovery. They were talking of easing things a little for her and her family, and so they decided to raise funds in order to help defray treatment expenses for her.

As the free period was closing, Wilhelm put forth, "Let us remember to be aware and show respect for the wildlife we encounter at all times. We can peacefully coexist with nature if we do it responsibly and with the right precautions."
