POV Merlin
I boredly glanced out the window. It was snowing, quite heavily at that. A few months had passed since the, as I now knew them, Lord's cleansers, had came.
Gumiyeong during this time, had started to have morning sickness and act grumpy all the time.
The slightest thing could set her off. And this was just the beginning of her pregnancy….
Holy fuck, I should not have promised 15 kids.
Anyway, during this time I had focused on developing my magic, and with my sheer capacity for mana, my testing went very smoothly.
I smiled, and this was just the beginning of my adventure! I would become the greatest magician of all time! No matter how childish I sound.
————
Seasons started to pass rapidly, a few attacks here and there by wild Youkai which we promptly sent away. As Gumiyeong didn't want to kill them.
Gumiyeong's belly started to grow and grow until she constantly felt like she was ready to pop. I had counted the seasons and I found winter had passed 9 times!
So 9 years had passed in the blink of an eye huh? And Gumiyeong was still pregnant even though she said it would take 7 years maximum. Perhaps me becoming a Mabeop Yuukai had effected the child?
Anyways,
Why don't I recount my adventures during this time. For no particular reason other than I feel like it.
In the first two years I did a whole lot of nothing. Well I did do a few things such as creating a few homunculus. But in the end, although they had a soul, they lacked something important. I had no clue what it was. But it was definitely important.
But in the third year of my stay I got a little bored so I went out to explore the world beyond the couple hundred miles I had mapped out.
The world was much smaller than earth, about 1/5th the size. Slightly bigger than the moon. But yet it still had the gravity of earth, lets put that on my list to figure out why.
In total there was 3 continents and 2 oceans, and only one was inhabited by the Youkai that believed in The Lord. The other two were inhabited by nature Youkai such as the Kumiho. Although they had no civilization due to their chaotic nature.
So they weren't worth talking to for now.
During my exploration of the inhabited continent I found several ruins of what looked to be small cities, filled with something I was all too familiar with. Masks.
Thousands of Youkai corpses had masks. But oddly enough none of them moved at all. As if waiting for someone to give them orders.
So I poked and prodded them before I quickly took away the bodies and masks for experimentation.
I eventually discovered that the 'signal' that gave them orders had been removed. That was odd, why would it do that? Maybe I should ask ROB, this did concern me, Gumiyeong, and our childs safety.
Oh yeah speaking of ROB, he had continued to visit me on my birthdays and tried to bargain for me to ask him questions. I refused of course. Where was the fun if in life if an all powerful deity gave me answers?
The only two questions I had ever asked were,
1. How do I use magic?
2. Can the SCP foundation detect me?
After I found the ruins of Youkai civilization I continued to explore, and I did find something.
A non destroyed Youkai civilization!
I turned on my improved invisibility, that now accounted for magic sight, and flew above the city. Apparently Youkai had advanced technology as I saw several mechanical humans run through and about the city, no magic.
But in all other areas they were lacking. All around 1500~ feudal Japan.
But another interesting thing was that everyone was in a constant melancholic state, as if something very important to them had been taken away.
I should blend in and ask what happened, was what I thought. So I flew down into the streets and went into an alleyway to turn off my invisibility.
I then went out into the streets. At maximum in this city, although it was far bigger than most US cities, rivaling New York in size, it had 50,000~100,000 people. So it was like a ghost town.
I ran for awhile before I found another person, eating at an empty restaurant alone, not even waiters or chefs.
So I asked him what had happened and he looked at me like I was crazy before letting out all his sorrows about how The Lord had died for them and sacrificed himself so all the masks would stop coming.
For some odd reason I didn't believe that in the slightest. Why would someone sacrifice themselves for that? When the Youkai race, although not thriving, was in fact surviving.
Eventually after exploring a little more I left. But not before having a chance encounter with Jiyeon.

POV Merlin, 6 years ago.
A woman with golden hair walked, looking at her I could tell she was dead on the inside. Completely devoid of any life. She was a complete mess.
And around her several people tried to cheer her up. Talking about how The Lord wouldn't want her to be so devoid of life, because he sacrificed himself to give them life.
Wait, I think I recognize that woman, isn't she the one who visited me all those years ago? Jiyeon? But why so… lifeless because one dude she probably never even saw died?
Hmm… well she was a golden retriever, and dogs are very loyal animals, so I guess it makes slight sense.
Jiyeon looked up and saw me. Her eyes suddenly regained some glow, not nearly enough that someone living should have, but still it was some.
She quickly ran up to me.
Not good.
"You! I remember you! The Lord last contacted me while we met!
You must come with me! For the sake of all of Youkai-kind we must figure out how to bring The Lord back!"
I waved my hands in the air rapidly, "No thank you, I uhh need to go check in on my wife."
She grasped unto my arm hard, bringing me closer to her. Pushing my arm into her chest she started to incoherently ramble.
"No! You must not lea-"
"Space magic: Short distance teleport"
A few magic circles appeared, one to open space, another to close it behind me, a third one to calabrate how far I should teleport through the use of dimensional coordinates, and the final one to open a portal at the calculated location.
And just like that I was gone.

POV Merlin, the one narrating his adventures.
After I escaped from Jiyeon I decided to explore the stars. As this was a new dimension there should be different star systems and such right?
That was my thought at the time.
So I started to develop my [space magic] beyond just teleporting, and into calculating the universe abd its secrets.
Eventually on the beginning of the fourth year I developed a spell just for that.
With my then 8 tails I had a lot more mana than my human self, something 33.6 million times more.
So I would simply spread out my mana across the entirety of the galaxy I was in. And once I did that, then I could explore it! And find all of the little secrets here and there. Study all anonymous things! Maybe go take a dip in a blackhole! Figure out what is on the other end. Y'know crazy shit.

Fucking finally. Who would have thought it was so hard to create a spell to map out an entire galaxy. Not me clearly.
Well anyway. Let me cast my master piece.
One circle to measure the amount of distance crossed, another to stop once you hit nothing for 5,000 light years, a third for the mana to cover every nook and kranny, a fourth to then create an image of it, a fifth to shrink the image down, and a sixth to manifest the image.
"Space magic: Map of the cosmos"
A map of the milky way appeared in front of me.
Oh shit. I didn't leave the home dimension? I guess it makes sense as I was weak back then, but not even across the galaxy? Apparently human me was weaker than I thought.
Alright well lets use the next spell.
"Imagery magic: interactive image."
The tens of foot long image gained suddenly turned 3-D.
A whole galaxy was in front of me.
A galaxy with so many secrets….
A galaxy with so many wonders….
A galaxy with so many things to discover….
A galaxy that I would find all the secrets of.
I decided to make a promise with myself.
No matter what, I would figure out everything this multiverse abd beyond had to offer. Do all things, experience everything that could be, know all knowledge, and most importantly, have fun.
It was about the journey not the destination right?
