Dazed, Nate stood watching as everyone filed out of the room, leaving only himself and Jodi. Looking down, he saw that she appeared thoughtful, as if contemplating something of great importance.
"I'm worried that killing all these people who are at a higher realm than yourself might cause you to break through," she finally said, her voice laced with concern.
That was also something Nate had considered. 'Cola, you said you have been storing my energy. Will you help prevent me from breaking through?' he thought.
'Yes, I will keep Host at peak initial until Host is ready,' the AI responded promptly.
"I can keep the excess energy stored until later," he explained to Jodi, who nodded her understanding, her brow furrowing slightly.
