Chapter 28 - Minato's Request

"You...you!" Toda stared at Inabi's eyes, completely stunned.

"Hahaha!" Inabi, with a triumphant smile, put his hands on his hips and exclaimed, "Thanks to you, Hinata, I awakened the Sharingan!"

Inabi's words were like a thunderbolt, causing the previously quiet classroom to erupt.

"Impossible!" Toda refused to accept the fact that he had helped Inabi awaken the Sharingan, shaking his head in disbelief.

Pointing at his own eyes, Inabi proudly declared, "I, who just awakened my eyes at the age of six, have the right to talk to you, Hyuga Toda!"

The frustration inside Toda was building up, ready to retort, when suddenly he felt a tap on his shoulder. Instinctively, he turned his head to see.

"Toda, please sit down; it's time for class." Smiling, Kizaru reassured him, his tone leaving no room for doubt.

"Oh!" He responded instinctively, and Toda obediently took his seat.

It wasn't until he sat down that Toda realized he had something to say to the smiling Kizaru, but he couldn't bring himself to speak. Instead, he swallowed his words in silence.

"Haha, Hinata..."

"Inabi, please take your seat too!" Kizaru, with a smile, interrupted Inabi.

Overwhelmed by Kizaru's imposing presence, Inabi also wanted to speak but found himself unable to open his mouth. He reluctantly took his seat.

"Thank you!" Kizaru, after seeing Inabi comply, expressed his gratitude with a smile.

Afterwards, Kizaru looked around the classroom, restoring order to the previously chaotic atmosphere.

Satisfied with the outcome, Kizaru, wearing a smile, walked leisurely to his own seat.

"Achoo!"

Stretching comfortably, Inabi made a sneezing sound and was about to lie down again when a voice came from the front.

"Your momentum is getting stronger." The speaker was Shikaku, seated in front of Inabi.

"Just a little bit!" Inabi smiled, making a "C" gesture with his hand.

Seeing Inabi's response, Shikaku, who had rolled his eyes, turned back to his original position and continued sleeping.

Watching Shikaku lie down again to sleep, Inabi twisted his head and also leaned on the table, preparing to sleep.

When Kiyoshi entered the quiet classroom, he felt surprised. However, upon seeing the duo sleeping in the back rows, he seemed to understand.

Preparing to start the class, Kiyoshi, with an expressionless face, picked up a piece of chalk and accurately threw it at Shikaku's head.

Just like on the first day of school, Kiyoshi loudly scolded, "Shikaku, stand up and go to the back!"

Taking a deep breath, Shikaku stood up from his seat, walked out, and said to Inabi, who was still lying on the table, "You, hurry up and graduate!"

Hearing the voice, Inabi didn't look up, just raised his right hand, made an "OK" gesture, and then put down his right hand.

On the podium, Kiyoshi, seeing that Inabi didn't look up today, took a deep breath and slowly exhaled.

"Let's start the class!" Ignoring Inabi, Kiyoshi began today's lesson.

...

"Inabi, Inabi!" In the midst of a dream, Inabi, half-awake, heard someone calling his name.

Lifting his head from the table, supporting his chin with his hand, Inabi looked towards the source of the sound.

Opening his eyes slowly, Inabi clarified the person who woke him up.

With a warm smile, Minato apologized for waking Inabi, feeling a bit embarrassed.

Rubbing his head, Minato earnestly said to Inabi, "Inabi, I'm sorry for waking you up."

Making a sneezing sound, Inabi didn't respond immediately but looked out the window, trying to figure out how much time had passed.

"It's already the third period; everyone is on the field, and we'll be able to have lunch soon." Observing Inabi's movements, Minato guessed what he was thinking.

"Is there anything, Minato?" Inabi flashed a smile, asking with a smile.

"Inabi, I heard from Yoshihiko that you train at the training ground every day after school," Minato looked at Inabi, hesitated for a moment, and continued, "After school, I want to train with you. Is that okay, Inabi?"

After saying this, Minato felt a bit nervous, and the small hand placed on his leg unconsciously grabbed his pants.

This request from Minato wasn't a hasty decision but a choice made after careful consideration over many days.

As an orphan, he had grand ambitions of becoming the Hokage.

But after entering the elite class, Minato discovered the gap between himself and those from prestigious ninja clans, as well as the children of ninja.

Having received no basic education, lacking guidance and inheritance from family parents, Minato, an orphan, despite being diligent, could only maintain above-average grades in class.

For an ordinary orphan without anyone to teach and guide, such grades were already excellent.

But for Minato, who harbored dreams of becoming a Hokage, it was not enough!

Minato was dissatisfied with his grades; he wanted to achieve better results. However, this was not something he could accomplish with mere effort.

In the ninja world, knowledge of training was valuable, expensive, and something Minato, as an orphan, couldn't access.

After contemplating for many days, Minato sought out Kizaru.

He didn't harbor delusions of learning secret ninja techniques or training methods from Kizaru. He simply believed that training with a strong individual would surely aid in his own growth.

Upon hearing Minato's request, Kizaru didn't respond immediately. It wasn't that he was unwilling; rather, through Minato, he recalled some memories.

"Kizaru, I won't disturb you. I just want to train with you." Seeing Kizaru silent, worried that he might misunderstand, Minato quickly added.

Smiling, Kizaru finally spoke.

"Of course! It works out well. Yoshihiko has been pestering me to train with him. After school, you and Yoshihiko can train with me together!"

Hearing Kizaru's response, Minato's heart rejoiced, and the smile on his face became even more radiant.

"Thank you, Kizaru!" Gratefully bowing to Kizaru, Minato's eyes were filled with happiness and gratitude.

"Don't mention it, Minato."

There were two reasons why Kizaru agreed to Minato's request. Firstly, knowing the plot, he understood Minato's potential as the future Fourth Hokage and was naturally willing to pull him closer, given the relationship with the Shimura clan.

The second reason was that, upon hearing Minato's plea, Kizaru suddenly thought of the "Little Sun*" in the class and the new A-rank ninjutsu he had created for the future.

A-rank Non-Attribute Ninjutsu: Rasengan!

This non-attribute ninjutsu paired well with his high-speed movement ability.

Moreover, the main thing was that creating a new A-rank ninjutsu would bring him fame again and help advance the progress of his Fusion Bar.

Kizaru had already planned it out. On the day of the graduation exam, he would say something like, "Wow, those Uchiha monsters are really scary!" after defeating them with a Rasengan in one hand and a laser in the other.

The scene would surely be amusing!

Thinking about it, Kizaru's smile took on a mischievous touch.

*It's Minato.
