Ileyana, the vice-lease of the wind fan faction stepped through the gates of deity sect, her fingers tightening around the hilt of her fan blade.
The mark of the Wind Fan faction glimmered faintly on the back of her left hand, a swirling sigil that marked her allegiance. Hiding her position, she entered in the divine deity sect like a common soldier.
She had come far enough to reach the fabled island sect. The journey had hardened her, but standing at the heart of such power, Ileyana could feel the weight of something far greater pressing down on her spirit.
Guards flanked the entrance, their faces obscured beneath silver helms, their eyes as cold as steel. They glanced at her mark and nodded silently, allowing her to pass without challenge.
She followed the crowd and got separated into different courtyards.
