"It's not so much about helping her manage the operation as it is about keeping her from overdoing it. You know how she operates," Corwin explained.
Gray closed his eyes again, exhaling a long sigh. "You're lucky I'm not in a bad mood today. Go away."
But Corwin didn't move. "It's part of ensuring the master's plan goes smoothly," he insisted.
"Send the others," Gray replied, his patience wearing thin.
Corwin adjusted his glasses again, his eyes fixed on Gray. "Among the five of us, only you and Catleya are rational enough for this. However, given the tensions between Catleya and Libel, that leaves only you."
