After seeing how powerful the manifestation of this Outer One was, Vlad didn't even hesitate to bring the big guns.
And by guns, he meant a big insect lady.
"Unit Summon!"
FLAAASH!
He quickly manifested a huge magic circle above him, and from within it, the figure of an insectoid woman emerged, her eyes shining bright red as her aura of bloodthirst manifested fully, spreading everywhere as it resembled a massive swarm of hungry insects.
The skies turned red before her presence, and even the possessed Gofumina glared at the thing emerging from within the magic circle.
Vlad had thankfully not forgotten one of his trump cards.
And it was time to give her some much-needed use!
"Yes! Finally master! You've finally called meeee! Hahahahaha!"
Insecta didn't even hesitate, and she didn't even need to be told what to do, jumping into the monster beneath and swinging her fist forward.
She knew exactly what to do.
BOOOMMM!!!
The moment she swung her claws, a massive shockwave of crimson energies impacted the slime; a tenth of it disappeared, leaving only steam everywhere.
It was somehow just a "punch," and yet it carried so much power it left Vlad, Chris, Emerlinda, and even Camilla speechless!
"UUUGGHHH…!"
And as it lost a large part of its mass, the monstrous slime groaned in agony, glaring at the "thing" that had arrived. A menace from the era that Obscuritas was dangerous and wild. A monster among monsters that shouldn't even exist in this era.
A prehistoric calamity!
"Insecta, I'm counting on you! Please deal as much damage as possible!"
Vlad didn't even hesitate to tell her the job she was going to do, an easy one, and a very enjoyable job for someone like her.
After days of being summoned, Insecta was finally getting her much-needed action.
"Sure thing, master~! I'll gladly do so!"
And she couldn't be happier; finally she was having some battles. Eldritch God or not, she didn't give a damn. Her claws grew even larger as she saw the green slime goo coming at her from every angle.
"Heheh… HEHEHEHE!"
She laughed like a complete lunatic, a true maniac of the battlefield. In ancient times she terrorized the entire Realm of Obscuritas as one of its strongest menaces.
Although after being summoned once more, she wasn't as strong as she was back then… She was a rare "growth type" Hero Unit.
The more she battled and "consumed" her foes, the stronger she would grow!
"{Crimson Rend}"
Her claws grew ten times as long, resembling crimson swords as she swung them, releasing cross-shaped slashing waves against her attacker.
SLAASH! SLAASH! SLAASH! SLAASH!
In an instant, the massive tentacled abomination received tremendous damage, its tentacles being split apart and exploding, burning to the point they turned into steam.
"GRUOOOHHH!"
The monstrous being roared angrily; it was frustrated this woman was getting in her way to get to Vlad! Her crimson eyes shone brightly, firing several laser beams at Insecta.
"Huh, long-ranged attacks? I can't do that; that's not fair!"
Insecta was a physical monster also capable of creating an army of bugs, but she had little to no magical powers or long-ranged attacks…
That is, other than her own physical blows.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
She moved at lightning speed, resembling a crimson blur as she ran around the thing and then imbued her claws with her powerful Aura again.
"{Bloody Crimson Rend}!"
Her eyes shone bright red as she swung her claws at lightning speed, zigzagging around the entire being and decimating several parts of it at once.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
"GRYYYAAAAHHH!"
The thing started screaming in agony as it began to rapidly weaken! It no longer had any time to attack anybody or even expand, putting all its efforts into trying to stop Insecta somehow.
"What the hell am I looking at?! Is she really this strong?" Chris couldn't believe it, his jaw dropping in utter disbelief. "But she was just summoned out of a damn item…"
"Yeah, I know," nodded Vlad. "Territory Management System is busted because you can summon monsters to become your loyal servants. But it's not easy for any player to get it… I was lucky and unlucky at the same time to find the perfect opportunities."
"It's sure a cheat!" Emerlinda said. "Wow Vlad, you're cheating the game…"
"I'm not cheating!" Vlad facepalmed. "It's implemented into the game; I already said that—ah, forget it. Insecta is holding the thing back, but the goblin girl… If we want her alive, we need to act now before she accidentally kills her instead."
"Right, the goblin girl…!" Said Emerlinda. "I'm sorry, this is my fault, because I decided to help her. I ended up dragging this thing here and…"
"It's fine, stop whining about it; it's not like it'll change anything!" Chris complained. "But it was nice of you; she better be a good new ally or something. We're going to extort everything she has after we save her ass!"
"Well said," Vlad nodded, agreeing with Chris in this.
"I-I sometimes don't understand if you two are mean or nice…" Emerlinda was trying really hard to understand how their minds even worked.
But they sure were compatible sometimes!
"What can we do, brother?" Camilla asked. "The armor is what's possessing her; do we take it out?"
"I happen to have a great ability to disarm foes, but we need to get close enough…" Vlad said. "I'll also set up a formation for purification, the same one we used on Chris, but stronger. Emerlinda, spread the Leylines with your Spirit Magic for me."
"H-How big is this formation?" Emerlinda asked, looking worried.
"Not that big, look," Vlad pointed down. "Insecta is reducing the monster's mass a lot; we should be able to make a small one once it is reduced enough. Let's go! We'll help Insecta to hurry this process. We can't let such a thing crawl out of this forest, or Elderbridge might be in danger!"
Vlad led his party down, as he quickly released blood from his hands, forming hundreds of small blood spheres out of them and dropping them over the monster's body.
"{Blood Bomb}"
Each blood sphere flashed with bright red light before exploding.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
