Synopsis
This was not what I expected. After saving a child, I was reincarnated in another world as a demon. My dream seemed to have come true, but I soon realized that, because I was a demon, I would be isolated from the rest of the world, living in a primitive condition. Now my only path would be to make the demons progress so I could see the rest of the world, meet the other races and finally learn magic.

Chapter 1 - Prologue: The beginning Part 1

In a world where an immense continent called Ageia is home to countless races, four of them stand out as the most powerful and influential, each with their own empire.

The Dwarves, who dominate the icy north, in the snow-capped mountains.

The Bestials, who reign in the arid west, in the scorching desert.

The Elves, who control the verdant south, the forests full of life and magic.

The Humans, who rule the fertile east, in the fields and plains ideal for agriculture and livestock.

These four races clashed over territory and resources, advancing increasingly towards the center of the continent.

It was then that they discovered an unknown race that lived in that region. They were tall, strong, wild and had horns on their heads. They were unlike anything they had ever seen.

Attempts at communication were frustrated as they were hostile and aggressive. So the negotiations were abandoned, and that place was isolated from the rest of the world. They came to be called demons.

A demon paced back and forth in a tent, while the others watched him from afar.

— He doesn't stop walking. — commented one of them.

— It's normal, he's looking forward to his first child. — said another.

The infant mortality rate of demons was much higher than that of other races.

In the middle of the crowd, a demon approached and placed his hand on the restless demon's shoulder, making him stop.

— Crefe, everything will be fine. — he said, trying to reassure him.

The chief demon sighed and listened to his friend's advice, calming down a little.

— It's been a while since the midwife entered the tent... — he remembered, looking at the entrance to the tent, where he could hear his wife's screams.
