"What are you talking about? Are you alright?" Reggie asked, trying to approach her to see what was wrong with her for blabbering so much nonsense.
"I know what you are," she declared, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and defiance. "Vampires. So don't try to play innocent with me. I saw the darkness in the eyes of the man who was sent to kill us by Elena, the same darkness that I see in yours. You can't fool me into thinking you're any different,"
Reggie's brows furrowed, his gaze shifting uncomfortably under the weight of Nana's accusation. He opened his mouth to protest, but Nana cut him off with a sharp gesture.
"Don't bother denying it," she continued, her tone laced with bitterness. "You are wondering why I'm not scared? What is there to be scared of any more? I will die anyway so you might as well just stop all this acting. I know what I saw back there in the village,"
