I stared at the broken decoration on the floor, feeling a wave of frustration wash over me. This was the last thing we needed right now, with only a day left before the wedding.
Leora came over, her eyes wide with concern. "Zephara, what happened?"
I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "One of the kids knocked into it. I thought we had it secured, but..."
She looked at the shattered pieces, her brow furrowing. "Can we fix it?"
I knelt down, picking up a few fragments. "I don't think so. It's too damaged."
Leora bit her lip, clearly trying to stay calm. "Alright, we'll just have to find something else."
"Don't worry," I said, standing up and dusting off my hands. "I'll handle it. I'll go to the demon market and find something that can replace it."
Her eyes widened in surprise. "Are you sure? We don't have much time left."
