Chapter 85 - A cure

As my mother's words sunk in, a mixture of relief and gratitude flooded through me. Despite the weight of the situation, her unwavering support and willingness to help lifted a burden from my shoulders.

"What do you want me to talk to you about?" I asked, a little confused by her previous question, but my mother's smile broadened as she began to unravel her thoughts.

"The human you love is the one you brought back the last time you came here, and you also danced with her at the ball," she said, her words slowly piecing together the puzzle for me. However, her assumption left me feeling perplexed.

"You and that human are together, aren't you?" she asked delightedly, but I found myself scratching my head in confusion. My relationship with Leora was far from conventional at the moment.
