"Now that I've got the rabbit, I've got to go to sexy grandma's house, but I don't know where it is," I muttered, clutching the furry creature in my arms. It had taken me hours to chase and catch it, and I was exhausted and hungry now. "Ava could help me," I added, glancing at the girl who was walking beside me.
"Ouch," I said, holding my nose, as Ava suddenly stopped walking and I bumped into her back. She turned to me with an apologetic look.
"Sorry, I was distracted by something," she said, pointing at a large tree that had a hole in its trunk. "Do you see that? There's something shiny inside."
I squinted my eyes and saw a faint glimmer of gold. "Maybe it's a treasure," I said, curious.
"Or a trap," Ava said, wary. "We should be careful. This forest is full of dangers and mysteries."
"Where do we need to go?" she asked, changing the subject. She looked at me with concern etched on her face.
