The sun was shining brightly over their head and the wind was gently caressing their faces.
Three people; two men, and a woman, were standing in the middle of a barren land.
The sky above them was clear and there was not a single cloud in the sky.
The ground beneath them was dry and the cracks had spider-webbed across the surface.
However, despite the heat and the dust mixed in the air, these three people were not even sweating.
Instead, they looked fresh and vibrant.
This was because the wind that was blowing around them was not ordinary, rather, it was a mana-infused wind.
And, the only reason they were standing in this empty and desolate place was because this place was a dungeon entrance.
The location of this dungeon was quite far from the city and it was in the middle of nowhere.
"So," The woman spoke up, as her eyes fell on the man kneeling in front of her.
He was trying to tie his shoelaces, however, when he heard the woman's voice, his fingers stopped, and his eyes moved up, staring at the two people standing in front of him.
"What do you guys think why did the master tell us to only analyze him and not engage in a fight?"
The woman's question was simple, but, her tone was not.
Instead, her tone was serious and it held a hint of curiosity which caused the eyes of the man standing in front of her to narrow.
This man was wearing a dark cape with a hood that covered most of his face.
"Beats me," He answered, "Maybe, because, he is not an opponent we can handle,"
The woman rolled her eyes to look at the man standing beside her.
And, before opening her mouth again, she stared at his face for a moment, "Well, I guess you are right,"
Saying that she glanced back at the man kneeling down, "Anyway, what was his name again, Ron?"
"It's Nellas," Ron, once again, stopped his movement and raised his head to look at her.
"Nellas Starlight, a C-Class Hero," He answered, and instead of lowering his head to continue tying his shoelaces, he kept staring at the woman with pleasing eyes.
"C-Class hero, huh," She mused, and then, she noticed how the man was staring at her.
"What?" She questioned, and her brows knitted together.
"Please..." Ron uttered, and his eyes were filled with expectation.
Instinctively, the woman's eyes fell on the laces in his hand and a soft sigh left her lips.
"Tsk," She clicked her tongue and sat down to his level.
"Here, let me help,"
The moment she said those words, a smile spread across Ron's face and he nodded his head, expressing his thanks.
"Thank you, Sis,"
"Hmph," She snorted, and, as soon as she took the shoelaces from his hand, Ron stood up, and then, proceeded to look at the hooded man.
"By the way, Danny, why are you wearing that hoodie?" He asked, and without any movements or any change in his expression, the hooded man replied, "Because, it looks cool,"
Danny's voice was low, and his words were barely audible, but, somehow, both Ron and his sister heard him.
"Cool?" Ron raised his eyebrows, and his voice was laced with incredulity.
"Yeah, it looks cool," Danny replied, and he took a few steps forward, then turned around, facing Ron and his sister.
"Right, Ron?" He asked, and his question was followed by a short silence.
"Y-yeah, you look cool, you do," Ron lied, stuttering a bit, and then, he moved his gaze away from Danny.
He didn't want to hurt his friend's feelings.
"Alright, it is done," The woman's voice cut off their conversation and she got up from the ground.
"Thanks, Sis," Ron said, and then, he moved his feet, checking his shoes.
"No problem," She replied and looked around the land as if she was expecting someone.
"By the way, why hasn't he arrived yet?" She questioned, and a hint of displeasure could be heard in her voice.
"Are you talking about me?"
However, before she could get any response from her companions, an unfamiliar voice came from behind her, causing her to turn around.
There, a few feet away, a guy, with brown hair and black eyes, was standing.
"Hmm, so, you must be Nellas," The woman said, and her eyes examined the man in front of her.
A white, short-sleeved t-shirt was clinging to his body and a pair of black, short pants was hanging on his waist which reached until his knees.
He had a handsome face and his body was lean and athletic.
Other than that nothing stood out about him, except maybe for his eyes, which seemed to have a depth that didn't match his age.
"Indeed," He said and nodded his head, "I have come to help you with dungeon clearing,"
Hearing him, the woman's lips curved into an evil grin, 'At last, the most awaited moment has arrived,'
In a split second, she changed her demeanor and put on a sweet and innocent act.
"O-oh," She said and faked a stutter, "Then, shall we go inside?"
She pointed at the dungeon's portal, and in return, Nellas' nodded his head.
"Sure, let's go,"
