They called her ugly and made fun of her for looking like a boy. Even the girls won't play with her because they think she looks like a boy and the boys also don't want to play with her because she was a girl.
Why were they being so mean....she just wanted to play with them.
She wondered whether 'he' would also stay away from her and join the others in making fun of her if she went to him.

" Because You are my friend " Vivian said seriously and went back to reading his book. But after a few moments, Vivian gazed at the girl again making her nervous as she fidgeted a bit.
Vivian was contemplating a very huge matter inside his mind, shouldn't friends know each other's names? Or can you call a person a friend even without knowing their name? If that happens is that even your friend?
Isn't that just a glorified stranger? If that is what friends are like then what is the point of having friends?
Isn't it better to be just alone? But is being alone fun? Isn't it boring? But if being alone is boring then isn't having friends better? But is being alone, truly alone because the plants, rocks, and trees can also give a sense of companionship? But is it true companionship? On second thought what is companionship? ( he is not a dum dum )
Vivian's mind went on a tangent as he continued staring at his 'friend' while thinking.
The girl couldn't handle Vivian's stare as she got a bit bashful and lowered her head while poking her fingers together shyly, she was a bit self-conscious as she had been called ugly by the other kids.
But this cute boy called her his friend, she didn't know if he was making fun of her or trying to trick her, but she wished he was telling the truth because she also wanted to be friends with him and play with him.
As she was deep in her thoughts she was awakened out of it by his sudden voice.
" My name is Vivian, what's your name? "
" Huh? "

She was a bit flustered and embarrassed at her behaviour and took a few moments to gather up her courage and shyly replied.

She didn't know why but when she met Tiamat's gaze she felt a shiver run down her spine. She was honestly a bit scared and would have run away from here if not for her mother being present.
