Chapter 2 - Rinse my shine

Chapter 2

(Achamo,Horos, All-Father, Pelucia, Metrikos and Pelucia)

Achamo stood up and put on her clothes, gazing at the solar mirrors. She imagined herself in a different outfit than the current one she wore.

Remembering what her maid used to tell her before going to bed,

"On the dark stars of her birth, your mother gave up her auric syzygy to protect you."

but right now, she doesn't see the syzygy manifesting.

Perhaps it's hidden inside of her.

Her father said it was a gift, and she wonders when the syzygy might reveal itself, saying, "Hey, I have been here all this time, but you didn't see me."

She stared at her pale skin and dusty blue hair, deciding to do something about it.

She opened her drawer and thought,

"I might not be able to play around with a syzygy, but I can play around with elemental magick."

With that in mind, she took out the grimoire and decided to make some little edits to her hair.

Stepping out of her room, she walked towards the elevator, hearing whispers from the corner—her fey maids.

Entering the elevator, she observed herself through the cubicles of the patched-out mirrors, looking rather different for a change. She decided to change her dress from gold to a golden-green sleeveless dress.

The elevator was already on its way down.

She recalled words from her father when she was a kid, dashing into him and her older brothers during a meeting in the war room. She was able to get in after being stopped by the guards. Inside the war room for the first time, without distractions, she asked her father about her own syzygy, questioning why she isn't like her brothers and other kids of the pantheon tree.

He explained,

"Because the dark sky lacked the perfect syzygy that could fit her persona. The wrong syzygy can become catastrophic to one not worthy to hold the power and strength of the gods and goddesses alike. I advise you to learn the gift of patience, as it's like a flower that blooms in the twilight of home. Yours will be the greatest of them all, my child."

Yet she could see her brother pitis snickering, which got her irritated as a child.

The memory faded away as he touched her head, transitioning into her years in junior school.

Reflecting on that time, when her classmates started manifesting their syzygy and the professor explained that the ceremony defined the individual's abilities and gifts along with the compatibility of their syzygy. Flashes of the many gifts offered to the syzygy flooded her memory.

Back in school, the professor said,

"Only a few gods came from the aeon bloodline that harnessed the gift and curse of the syzygy, for the syzygy represents the gift of war and love from the bloodlines of the pantheon and gods. One day, it must unite itself at the growth of conscious ascension, which only a few might achieve in godhood."

She remembered a classroom representation through drawings resembling a tree with many circles, where everything in the tree was connected, but a missing link was formed with a black dot below the tree.

The professor further explained,

"The gods, during their ceremony, are gifted with one of the god-given abilities, which are eight in number.

She recalled each ability and their explanations, thinking about how she was bullied because hers had not started waking up, especially being from the direct aeon bloodline.

She remembers the classes were boring at some point for her, but she still aced the course as a kid.

She rested by the elevator and also thought to herself about how the whole syzygy process can be weird sometimes; maybe she escaped the burden of having her own syzygy.

The elevator door opens up, and it's her older brother Horos who is already dressed up for his initiation in his white military apparel, spotted with gold pantheon stars.

She couldn't look him in the eyes before he started up another drama.

She's about to run off in quick steps when Horos grabs her and says "Hey, Acha, where's the rush to?" He begins to laugh immaturely, and she knows she doesn't have time for his drama this morning.

Achamo staring at her arm he held onto says, "Horos, I can't miss my transit to the city."

Horos still holds on even when she's pulling out "I hear you want to learn the ways of the sword?"

Achamo releases her hands from her brother's grip.

"Yes, and so? I know you've always been a bully."

"Me, a bully? You're just a doll goddess without a syzygy, you hear me," he says so as he drew closer wanting to intimidate her with his presence.

Horos is a big guy normal especially for his age but she isn't moved by his mere presence because she was secretly trained well by her maid to understand that people with a syzygy always love relying on its power and gifts.

"Go tell that to Metrikos, bully," Achamo said

as she runs off into the ship flight carriage that arrived in front of the building. She enters the ship and sees her maid already waiting for her.

She sits down close to her, but her maid is staring at her like something happened to her appearance.

Surprisingly, her father joins in with them. Achamo, noticing all the attention and inquisitive drama set to let loose, immediately puts on a celestial VR headset. It's been a while since she saw the other constellations and the other asterisms.

She goes into the system, and an avatar made in her image pops up in front of her.

Her avatar opens up a void leading into the other celestial realms.

" Welcome to the aeon space. I will be your guide;" the avatar says " first, we have 12 heavenly realms and 9 hierarchies within these realms."

She is already tired of hearing this same sermon.

Holographic buttons appear in front of her, and she finds the skip button.

She skips the intro topics, and the avatar moves to the stars she was aiming to see. There, she sees her mother figure amongst the star lords of their galaxy which was imprinted amongst the celestials for rememberance.

Then she remembers her father also telling her about the stars as a kid.

She sees him sat with her at the cliff of the mountain edge as she currently sat.

She could see the mental image become real as she sees him elaborate.

He said because her internal meridian became susceptible and vulnerable to the dark energies around the heavens during the attacks. She fought the enemies to her best abilities and she did that without her syzygy being active.

She took down much of the dark lords.

Yet, I still wonder why Father and half of my brothers weren't in the realm to defend the family, always searching for colonies to create or conquer. Always the new Elysium this and Elysium that, with all those primordial gods she thought to herself.

Then she changed the location to another constellation.

The avatar said,

"This is (Sirius a) and that's (Sirius b) constellation."

Then she sat down on its moon, watching different stars travel to their separate destinations.

She smiled at the sight of its beauty, then she noticed another image approach into the space.

Her father appeared from above her. She sat down immediately because her space had been invaded, and then he joins her sitting next to her.

"Achamo, it's been a while." he said.

She began staring at her legs as she wiggles it back and forth, and the avatar was still explaining.

It said,

"This reminds me of when you were younger stars ago."

Achamo didn't hesitate to shut the avatar off.

"Hi, Father," as she turns towards him.

And began wiggling her legs faster.

Her Father said "I see, you love such fashion."

He pointed to her new outfit and hair.

"It's a fashion from one of the old worlds," she said while looking at her outfit.

"Hmm, I like it. Always innovative with the way you look."

He pressed his wristwatch and made himself younger.

Achamo was quite surprised

"Wow," she exclaimed "I never thought you had it in you."

"You are not the only one that got some tricks up their sleeves, my dear." he said quite gleeful.

"That's cool, father."

Then she looks the other way and she began imagining how it would have been when he was younger and all the ladies flocking around him.

He looked more like Lotos, only if she could take some pictures right now, but she has to compose herself.

Her Father said "So, I think I'll use this opportunity to speak to you. I told Nojo, your maid…"

Achamo remember she said something like that " Yes, you said you want to see me?"

"Yes. So I thought it will be nice if you attended Olive Divine Mystery School," he says looking her "There you get to make friends."

Achamo interjected "Really?"

"Yes, that's what your mother would have wanted," he pointed out.

Achamo further exclaimed "Wow, you're bringing Mother into this."

"It's a new school at the powers hierarchy of the heavens," he said making her to see reasons.

"What about the school Horos and Metrikos go to?" She insisted "That's where I want to go to."

She looked at him trying to figure out if he was actually joking with her. And she knew it was not a joke.

"That school is for gods and goddesses with their syzygy and those with strong divine ties, but Olive Divine Mystery School;" he tries to reach out to her but she had shield herself from him "there you can help out with your common gift of elements and magick and also get to mix with other races of kids too. At least you get to harness these gifts; remember, no gift is a waste."

Achamo stares at her father with so much anguish.

After hearing this, she decided to log off the celestial program. As she removes her headset, the flight had already arrived at the Centurion City.

The city stood tall and golden with all its flights and jets in the almighty bright skies. The guards had already made way for the Pantheon elites as they made their way into the Centurion Chapel.

She steps out of the ship arriving at the chapel for the initiation.

As she enters into the Centurion Chapel, all eyes are darted towards her.

She decides to focus on the beautiful statues holding on to the pillars of the chapel.

She begins to count them in mind to avoid eye contacts, striding past all the gossips and whispers amongst the chapel crowds. She could hear them talk about her unconventional looks but doesn't mind.

She keeps walking through despite their hush-hush about her. Metrikos didn't like the fact she was the focus and attention of the crowd, Pelucia with him like his handbag.

He sets up his leg for her, but she tripped over.

Unfortunately, Achamo held her ground as she did some acrobatics in return.
