"IT'S YOU !" Orcus' voice thundered like a bolt of lightning. Megumi gasped. Are region bosses or dungeon masters like Orcus created to interact with player using AI as well, just like the NPCs? She never heard about that before. Now to think about it, the number of humanoid monsters in Celestia that capable of speech is exceptionally rare.
"You will pay hundreds times more for what you did yesterday! Take this. Necromancy!" Orcus roared, successfully bring Megumi back to focus.
"Whoah! That's cheating!" Megumi complained, though she knew she wouldn't be heard.
When she was a child, there are one thing she always complained when watching power ranger, kamen rider, or any tokusatsu movie. Why do they always wait for the monster to become a giant before they transform to a big robot? It will be easier, if they transform the moment the monster appeared, and just step on the monster to kill them, like human stepped on a bunch of ants.
She should think the monster's feeling that time.
Now she is in that tokusatsu's monster point of view that she complained before.
"I haven't buff myself yet" she continued complaining while running from a bunch of undead that just being summoned. Truly a very satisfying sight for Orcus, he can't help but booming satisfied laughter.
Finally, Megumi found herself cornered. Seems like there are no other way out but to die and be resurrected in the church. But she can't help but laughing out loud.
"Hm, it seems you became crazy in the front gate of the dead." Orcus mocked. "Kill her!" he continued, ordering all the undead under his control. All the undead swarming onto Megumi. But suddenly, a flashlight beamed and blasted the undead around her.
"T-that's impossible…" Orcus gaped at the sight of his undead army disappearing into nothingness in an instant.
In front of him, a semi-transparent figure, shining brightly in white armor, floated above Megumi. Despite its closed eyes, the figure exudes undeniable beauty. Radiant and ethereal, the angel's wings shimmered with iridescence, casting a celestial glow below him, erasing all undead within the radius of his light.
Archangel: Michael
A Godly skill, which said are just a rumours, now in her hands. She can't believe it either. After defeating Orcus yesterday, a piece of fine white feather fell into her hand and turned into white smoke, surrounding Megumi as it touched her. She only realizes it now—though no one can't blame her, as she has remembered all her skills after years of use. That's why she hasn't checked the skills page until now.
There are 7 Archangel that she can summon: Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Uriel, Sariel, Raguel, and Remiel. Each of them has their own abilities, and she can't wait to test all of them. But for now, an offensive one like Michael, known as the warrior Archangel, is needed. First and the only offense skill for a healer like her and only her can use it. A damage on a par with mage's attack and will be doubled if it used to attack dark attributes monster, extremely beneficial for a solo player like her in this dungeon.
The sound of the bell singing melodiously as the angel opened his eyes. His six wings unfurled, unleashing a flurry of swords made of light that materialized around him, hurled quickly piercing Orcus instantly. Every undead in its path disappeared with just a beam of light from the sword.
"Impossible… Imposible… AARGHH" An agonized cry echoed through the chamber, each scream a symphony of unbearable torment. Every undead in this chamber disappeared, along with Orcus. Finally, silence envelops everything. Just like yesterday, a chest appears, rewards for finishing the dungeon.
Megumi didn't go straight to the chest as she usually did before, instead lying down on the cold chamber floor. With gaze fixed straight ahead, she watches the angelic figure in shining armour starting to dissipate. Her mind in a mess right now, but the happiness of obtaining a godly skill dominated all the other feelings that were running through his mind.
Is she the first player in entire Celestia who have the Godly skill?
Or maybe, she is the only one?
She will be famous for sure if she publishes it right away in her youtube channel. The tittle should be: The first player who get the Godly's skill in Celestia revealing her secret how to get it. Haha… such a great clickbait tittle.
"Nah, I should keep it a secret for now"
After a few minutes taking a rest, she finally approaching the chest to open it, and being transferred again out from the dungeon.
Vincent a bit surprised to see Megumi finish the dungeon so fast today, compared to when she did it yesterday. "You're back."
"I'm back, Vincent." Megumi greets with a wide smile.
"That was quick. You've become more powerful, haven't you? Good work" He said, stroking red strands of Megumi's hair gently.
"Of course, I am." Megumi replied proudly, but suddenly, her vision became blurred and she fainted. For seconds, she could still hear Vincent's voice, who successfully grabbed her before she could fall to the floor, calling her name in panic. And finally, she lost consciousness.
---o0o---
She doesn't know how long she has been asleep. The sun already in its peak, when she opened her eyes. She still feels a little bit dizzy, so she decided to just back to sleep. But she late, just a few seconds. A sister already saw that she already awakes.
"You are awake. How do you feel right now?" Sister asking worried, while checking Megumi's temperature by placing her hand on Megumi's forehead. Nothing unusual, makes the sister breathed a sigh of relief.
"A bit sleepy, but I'm okay now. How long have I sleeping?" Megumi asked.
"Half a day, maybe. I will call Father here" Sister replied and leaving Megumi alone in her room. Megumi woke up, stretching her stiff body. Nothing wrong, she doesn't get injured anywhere. The only possibility why she fainted yesterday maybe because she just run out of manna. She nodded, agreed with what she think.
"Ah! Now to think about it, it's already next day. Then time to do dungeon~"
When Vincent arrived with the Sister, he can't find Megumi in her room, nor anywhere. Vincent can only sigh and think, "I will definitely scold her later."
With the experience points she earned yesterday, she successfully leveled up several times, and that adding several points for her intelegent status. Hopefully, she can master the skill Archangel faster. And for that, she needs to level up faster too. She finally arrived in front of the last boss's chamber, with a wide smile blooming on her beautiful face. "I'm coming, Orcus~"
