The object that was passing through the solar system on its way to Earth was continuously monitored by all the space agencies and astrological centers in the world. Hiding the truth, hiding the danger had required an apparatus of coercion over scientists that had no parallel.
All those who did not give in to pressure were removed from sources of information, dismissed from their positions and silenced in one way or another.
