I collected the few things that were in the camp, and some plants with minor effects that appeared in one of the books; somewhere I had to start my poison collection. The ones the teacher had left me were the most common and had just the right dose to make my body generate a certain natural immunity to them. With the teacher, we had already dismantled and collected the few parts of the lake monster that were useful, the chimera was not really a dragonoid, so its bones were not worth collecting.
I began to retrace the path from the lake. I was not in a special hurry; in truth, the training had been intense but faster than both the teacher and I expected. Furthermore, I could return while practicing; the javelin was one of the new elements that I wanted to learn to use well to get the most out of it.
